Ezequiel Duran went 1-for-2 in a 4-1 win over the Rays with a walk, one stolen base, one run scored, and one RBI.

Fantasy Impact: Duran continues a productive stretch at the plate, driving in runs in five of his last seven contests. The infielder remains one of the more reliable options in an inconsistent Rangers lineup to this point, hitting .275 with 12 homers, eight stolen bases, 48 runs scored, and 57 RBI through 98 games.

Evan Carter went 2-for-3 in a win over the Rays with a walk, one run scored, one RBI, and one stolen base.

Fantasy Impact: Carter has heated up of late, getting on base in six of his last seven contests. The outfielder remains one of the more underwhelming options as part of an inconsistent Rangers lineup for manager Skip Schumaker, batting .204 with eight home runs, 28 RBI, 37 runs scored, and 14 stolen bases across 88 games.

Jacob Latz tossed a perfect ninth inning to earn the save in Tuesday’s 4-1 win over the Rays.

Fantasy Impact: Katz continues a strong stretch out of the bullpen, holding opponents scoreless in eight of his last 10 trips to the mound. The left-hander has provided manager Skip Schumaker with a stable option as closer since assuming the reigns out of the Rangers bullpen, carrying a 1.80 ERA and 0.66 WHIP with a 2-1 record, 9.2 K/9 ratio, two holds, and 21 saves through 40 appearances.

Cal Quantrill allowed one earned run on two hits and one walk while striking out seven over 5 1/3 innings in Tuesday’s win over the Rays.

Fantasy Impact: Quantrill continues a strong stretch on the mound of late, allowing two earned runs or less in seven of his last eight contests. The right-hander offers manager Skip Schumaker another mostly stable option as part of an inconsistent Rangers rotation, posting a 3.84 ERA and 1.24 WHIP to go with a 4-3 record and 2.2 K/BB ratio across 22 appearances.

Jake Burger went 1-for-4 in Monday's win over the Mariners with a two-run home run.

Fantasy Impact: Burger has heated back up of late, reaching base in each of his last eight contests. The 30-year-old remains another streaky option in the Rangers lineup to this point for manager Skip Schumaker, hitting .238 with 19 home runs, 66 RBI, 45 runs scored, and two stolen bases through 101 games.

The Rangers released OF Jarred Kelenic.

Fantasy Impact: Kelenic had been on a tear recently at the plate for Triple-A Round Rock. He could be landing another opportunity in the majors with a different team.

Fantasy Impact: Cauley has heated up of late, getting on base in seven of his last eight contests. The infielder has offered manager Skip Schumaker a mostly steady option in a limited role to this point, batting .273 with one homer, one RBI, and eight runs scored through 15 games.

Alejandro Osuna went 3-for-4 in a 10-0 win over the White Sox with three RBI and two runs scored.

Fantasy Impact: Osuna has underwhelmed at the plate of late, registering hits in five of his last 12 contests. The outfielder has offered manager Skip Schumaker one of the more impactful bats in the Rangers lineup to this point, batting .265 with one home run, 21 RBI, 23 runs scored, and four stolen bases across 64 games.

Fantasy Impact: Higashioka will hit the shelf for the second time this season, and catcher Austin Wynns has been called up to fill his roster spot. Higashioka is slashing .218/.306/.370 with seven homers and 18 RBI in 58 games played this season.

Fantasy Impact: The Rangers signed Wynns to a minor-league contract in June and will now join the big-league squad with Kyle Higashioka hitting the IL. Wynns went 4-for-53 with the Athletics and Braves at the MLB level this season and will likely serve as a backup for the Rangers.
