Fantasy Football Player Notes

2020 Half PPR Rest of Season Rankings
Miles Sanders Note
Miles Sanders photo 18. Miles Sanders RB - (vs . WAS)
Sanders played extremely well in Week 2 as he returned from his injury, and saw far more work than the Eagles had suggested he would. Even with a banged up offensive line, Sanders' talent elevates him to RB1 status given the lack of viable options behind him, and there should be zero concerns going forward.

Zach Ertz Note
Zach Ertz photo 57. Zach Ertz TE - (vs . WAS)
Ertz battled through injuries and at times was the only legitimate receiving threat on the field for the Eagles and so saw plenty of extra coverage. But he still found his way to a fine season. He finished as the fifth tight end overall in fantasy, his third straight top five campaign, and had a massive 24% target share. With Alshon Jeffery likely to miss significant time this year, Ertz should once again see plenty of volume and be considered a top tight end.

Dallas Goedert Note
Dallas Goedert photo 81. Dallas Goedert TE - (vs . WAS)
Goedert has seen 17 targets through two games this year, an impressive number and a trend that may continue. With the Eagles struggling on offense and Jalen Reagor out for several weeks with an injury to the UCL in his thumb, Carson Wentz has few reliable targets. Goedert can be considered a low-end TE1 going forward.

Boston Scott Note
Boston Scott photo 107. Boston Scott RB - (vs . WAS)
Miles Sanders got a huge boost when the Eagles opted not to sign a notable free agent running back, but Scott's stock has somehow still remained too low. Yes, there were plenty of injuries, but Scott averaged 87.5 yards from scrimmage over the last four games last season and would be in line for significant touches should anything happen to Sanders, who is already battling an injury (Scott had 23 touches in Week 17 after Sanders was injured). Scott should be in line for upwards of 10 touches per game anyway, and also offers the upside of being a locked-in fantasy starter should Sanders get hurt. He's being undervalued by the fantasy community.

Jalen Reagor Note
Jalen Reagor photo 159. Jalen Reagor WR - (vs . WAS)
Reagor tore the UCL in his thumb, has been placed on IR, and is expected to miss six-to-eight weeks. There's no reason to roster the rookie at this point in redraft leagues, as there's next to no chance he provides value at any point this season.
