Starting Lineup

# NAME POS
1 Brandon Nimmo OF
2 Jeff McNeil 3B
3 Pete Alonso 1B
4 Robinson Cano 2B
5 Michael Conforto OF
6 J.D. Davis OF
7 Wilson Ramos C
8 Amed Rosario SS

Quick notes: No true proven elite hitters, but there are a lot of fantasy specialists in this lineup like McNeil (average), Nimmo (on-base percentage), Alonso (power), Rosario (steals).

Pitching Rotation

# NAME R/L
1 Jacob deGrom R
2 Marcus Stroman R
3 Steven Matz L
4 Rick Porcello R
5 Michael Wacha R

  • Better than his ADP: Syndergaard (62), Matz (286)
  • Worse than his ADP: None
  • Starter least likely to stick in the rotation: Porcello
  • Non-starter most likely to enter the rotation: Unknown

Quick notes: Noah Syndergaard has undergone Tommy John surgery, solidifying spots for Porcello and Wacha, but there are not a ton of obvious options to fill in after this starting five.

Bullpen

Quick notes: This is a great bullpen, which puts a little pressure on Diaz to pitch well in 2020. Lugo and Betances are awesome holds sources and should provide sparkling ratios.

Prospects

  • Relevant in 2020: None
  • Worth a look for 2021 and beyond: None
  • Don’t believe the hype: None

Other Helpful Fantasy Info

  • Park Factor: 82.8 for runs, 89.0 for homers, 89.7 for singes, 79.1 for doubles, 66.4 for triples.
  • Green Light Rating: Unknown (new manager).
  • Likeliest 2020 roster moves: Adding on at the deadline, this should be a competitive team, but there’s not much coming down the pipe in their farm system.
  • Bold Fantasy Prediction: Brandon Nimmo and J.D. Davis are two of the best draft values in the league this year.
  • Bland Fantasy Prediction: Pete Alonso gets drafted 40+ spots later on average in 2021 than he did in 2020.
