Sunday’s are a great day for DFS because we get both a full slate of NBA and NFL action. With that being said, NFL tends to steal the show but of course, there’s money still to be made on the basketball side of things, so let’s take advantage of it. Sunday brings us a seven game slate in total with a 6:00p.m. EST start. There’s a ton to breakdown so as always, let’s go ahead and dive in to the cash, GPP, and value plays as well as some pricing discrepancies on both DraftKings and FanDuel.

Injury Report
These are the biggest injuries of note but be sure to check every team’s full injury report and pay attention to all the news coming out up until lock before making any final lineup decisions.
Core Plays
Giannis Antetokounmpo (PF/C – MIL): $11,400 DraftKings, $11,300 FanDuel
Anytime Giannis is on a slate you’re most likely going to find his name in this section because he’s an absolute fantasy monster and always a good option to build lineups around. He’s scored 25 points in all but two games this season and is a threat to put up a triple-double any time he steps onto the court. We could get one of those huge fantasy performances from the “Greek Freak” tonight going up against a Washington Wizards squad that doesn’t really have anyone in terms of personnel to slow him down.
Paul George (SF – LAC): $10,400 DraftKings, $10,800 FanDuel
With the absence of Kawhi Leonard it’s been the Paul George show and he’s been a fantasy stud so far this year. George has the ball in his hands a ton with a 33.5% usage rate which in turn translates to more opportunity to score fantasy points. He’s averaging 1.5 fantasy points per minutes and now draws the Charlotte Hornets who have given up the most points (1,174) in the league. Paul George is a good player to start with when building lineups tonight.
Julius Randle (PF/C – NYK): $10,000 DraftKings, $9,300 FanDuel
Randle has put up a double-double in two straight games now giving him six already on the young season. He’s one of the more dynamic and productive power forwards in the game averaging 21.9 points, 11.3 rebounds, and 5.7 assists and he should look to boost those numbers tonight. Randle and the Knicks face the Cleveland Cavaliers who have the worst defensive rating in the league through 10 games this season making him a nice play to build around.
Cash Game Considerations
Jarrett Allen (C – CLE): $7,100 DraftKings, $7,500 FanDuel
Allen has given a major return on investment massively outproducing his price tag over the last three games yet on DraftKings we’re just now seeing his salary creep over 7k. He has given you five times or more the return on investment in that span which is exactly what you’re looking for when you’re playing cash games. Allen should be able to once again give a nice return facing a Knicks team who has been the second-worst team against the center position this year.
Devin Vassell (SG/SF – SAS): $4,500 DraftKings, $5,400 FanDuel
Vassell has played well this season and has put up 20 or more fantasy points on both DFS sites over the last three games. He’s taking advantage of the expanded role he’s seeing due to the absence of teammate Jakob Poeltl (COVID-19). This is a good opportunity for the young player who has shown promise. Price point and recent play make Devin Vassell a viable candidate for cash game consideration.
Davion Mitchell (PG – SAC): $4,400 DraftKings, $4,800 FanDuel
The rookie has begun to settle in and find his form it seems or maybe he just really likes November because in all three of his games this month he has played extremely well. In those three games, he’s averaging 16.3 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 4.6 assists while seeing an average of 27 minutes on the floor. He’s just to cheap on both FanDuel and DraftKings to not warrant a look in both cash games and GPP’s tonight.
GPP Targets
Stephen Curry (PG – GSW): $10,700 DraftKings, $10,000 FanDuel
Curry hasn’t played his best basketball lately failing to score 20 points in his last two games, prior to he had 20 or more in every game this season. Despite Curry’s shot uncharacteristically being off, he has made up for it with his peripheral stats logging five or more rebounds in all but one game and five or more assists in all but two this season. Curry is only going to be held down as a shooter for so long and it’s encouraging to see the rest of his game still on par. His recent game log may keep his ownership suppressed and if that is the case Curry is the perfect GPP candidate because it’s not a matter of if his shot will start to fall, it’s a matter of when. Once that happens and he combines a good night shooting the rock with those peripheral numbers you’re going to find him at the top of leaderboards.
Reggie Jackson (PG – LAC) $6,200 DraftKings, $6,300 FanDuel
Jackson has taken over as the LA Clippers full-time point guard and he’s embracing the role coming off two really good fantasy performances. He’s averaging 35.3 minutes game and with a 24.5% usage rate meaning Jackson and Paul George make up a total of 58% of the Clippers usage rate. Someone else has to score the ball for the Clippers besides Paul George and so far that’s been Jackson who now gets a Charlotte Hornet’s team who rank bottom six in points allowed against point guards this season.
Keldon Johnson (PF – SAS): $5,500 DraftKings, $5,700 FanDuel
Johnson is another Spur that’s seeing an uptick in opportunity with Jakob Poeltl (COVID-19) out seeing over 30 minutes the last two games and scoring over 25 fantasy points as well. That’s good production for a player that’s priced below 6k on both sites. The salary relief you get from Johnson allows you to pay up for other higher-end GPP targets making him a good play tonight.
Value Plays
Jalen Suggs (PG/SG – ORL): $4,700 DraftKings, $5,100 FanDuel
Cole Anthony (ankle) sprained his ankle last game and now carries a questionable tag going into tonight. Suggs is a good value play regardless of whether or not Anthony is in the lineup but obviously, if the sophomore guard sits that gives a major boost to the rookie’s fantasy value. If Anthony is in fact out tonight, which would make sense for the Magic to be cautious this early in the season then Suggs would take on the primary ball-handling and become one of the better value plays on the slate.
Daniel Theis (PF/C – HOUS): $3,800 DraftKings, $4,000 FanDuel
The Rockets are on a back to back and Theis did play the most minutes he has played all year but he played well scoring 18 points, grabbing five rebounds and two steals as well, only turning the ball over once. His workload and usage have been all over the map this season but if last game’s performance carries over then he will easily pay off his salary on both sites.
Luguentz Dort (SG – OKC): $4,600 DraftKings, $4,800 FanDuel
Dort has scored 20 or more fantasy points on DK every game this season and only missed the 20 point mark once on FD where he ended the night with 19.7. He’s not usually a staple in people’s lineups with SGA taking on much of the usage on this Oklahoma City team but Dort is about as consistent of a fantasy scorer you’ll find. He’s not going to give you a slate-winning performance but if you have around 5k left tonight and you need a player who isn’t going to sink your lineup, Dort’s your guy.
