The players below are the ones I’m looking at for NFL DFS GPP considerations this week. Salaries marked with an * indicate a strong value in pricing difference on FanDuel.
Week 15 NFL DFS GPP Advice & Picks
Quarterbacks
Marcus Mariota (QB – WSH) @ NYG | DraftKings: $5,000/FanDuel: $6,700
Marcus Mariota takes over for Jayden Daniels in an extremely soft matchup against the Giants. The Giants have allowed the third-most fantasy points to quarterbacks this season, and Mariota has three top-10 performances this year.
Mariota’s best performance of the season — the best volume for any Commanders quarterback this season — came against Denver in Week 13 when the Commanders finally had both Terry McLaurin and Deebo Samuel. Mariota provides volume and rushing upside at a low salary and surprisingly moderate rostership.
Brock Purdy (QB – SF) vs. TEN | DraftKings: $6,200/FanDuel: $7,500*
The 49ers have relied heavily on Christian McCaffrey in matchups that favor the run over the pass. However, this week could be Brock Purdy‘s week to finally showcase a ceiling game in an extremely friendly matchup with Tennessee. The Titans are generous across the board, and this is a great opportunity for the 49ers to increase pass volume and get Purdy into rhythm as they head into the playoffs.
Purdy’s volume has been underwhelming with 200 or fewer yards in each of the past three games since his return. This is the perfect get-right game, and Purdy should have moderate rostership and offers one of the highest ceilings of the week.
Jalen Hurts (QB – PHI) vs. LV | DraftKings: $6,800/FanDuel: $8,700
Jalen Hurts is an interesting contrarian play this week, coming off an abysmal Week 14 performance. In all fairness to Hurts, that was a difficult matchup, and this week’s matchup against Vegas is more agreeable. The overall numbers don’t show it because the Raiders have played struggling quarterbacks, but they’re absolutely a defense that a quarterback can thrive against.
As long as the matchup hasn’t been difficult, Hurts has generally produced. He’s reignited his connection with A.J. Brown, and this game presents a good bounce-back opportunity for Hurts on the ground as well, after being limited to just eight rushing yards last week.
Additional Considerations
- Jaxson Dart (QB – NYG) vs. WAS | DraftKings: $5,600/FanDuel: $7,600
- Matthew Stafford (QB – LAR) vs. DET | DraftKings: $7,000/FanDuel: $8,300*
Running Backs
Saquon Barkley (RB – PHI) vs. LV | DraftKings: $7,100/FanDuel: $8,500
Saquon Barkley is coming off his second-best performance of the season and only the second time he has rushed for over 100 yards.
Barkley’s salary is elevated this week, so we should likely get a lower rostership than we would typically see for an elite running back in a matchup with a team that has allowed massive boom performances to multiple running backs this season.
Despite the pricing, he’s still just the sixth-highest priced running back on the slate and offers excellent value for his salary.
Devin Neal (RB – NO) vs. CAR | DraftKings: $5,300/FanDuel: $6,100*
Devin Neal is coming off his best performance of the season with 19 carries for 70 yards and a touchdown. While we don’t necessarily want to chase points, it’s clear the Saints have no problem with Neal handling volume, and he’s got an extremely friendly matchup against the Panthers.
You’ll need to monitor his health because he is currently listed as questionable, along with Alvin Kamara, but Kamara is unlikely to play. It’s also worth noting that we saw this matchup back in Week 10 when Kamara was healthy, and this was one of Kamara’s best performances. That production should translate well to Neal.
TreVeyon Henderson (RB – NE) vs. BUF | DraftKings: $6,100/FanDuel: $6,700*
TreVeyon Henderson is a play in GPP specifically because of the extreme risk he poses at his pricing. Henderson has maintained a slightly elevated price despite the clear committee and underwhelming recent production. He’s had between 11 and 12 fantasy points in each of the past two games after having massive slate-breaking performances the prior two weeks as the lead back with Rhamondre Stevenson out.
The past two games were good matchups, and Buffalo presents another great opportunity. The difference between this matchup and the prior two is that this game should be more competitive and is far more meaningful to both teams. If Henderson gets hot, the Patriots could easily let Henderson loose to secure the victory in one of the league’s friendliest run matchups.
Additional Considerations
- Christian McCaffrey (RB – SF) vs. TEN | DraftKings: $9,000/FanDuel: $9,000*
- Derrick Henry (RB – BAL) @ CIN | DraftKings: $7,300/FanDuel: $8,400
- Chase Brown (RB – CIN) vs. BAL | DraftKings: $6,700/FanDuel: $7,100
- Travis Etienne (RB – JAX) vs. NYJ | DraftKings: $6,500/FanDuel: $7,500
Wide Receivers
Terry McLaurin (WR – WSH) @ NYG | DraftKings: $5,400/FanDuel: $7,100
Terry McLaurin is an excellent stacking option with Marcus Mariota or a one-off play in other lineups due to very reasonable pricing and an elevated ceiling against the Giants. The Giants have allowed the fourth-most fantasy points to opposing wide receivers.
McLaurin’s Week 14 was underwhelming, but his Week 13 performance in his return from injury was excellent, with 96 yards and a touchdown. That game was with Marcus Mariota at quarterback. The two appeared to have a solid rapport, and McLaurin’s rostership should be fairly low.
Jauan Jennings (WR – SF) vs. TEN | DraftKings: $5,200/FanDuel: $6,200
Jauan Jennings is the only viable option for a 49ers pass-catcher outside of George Kittle. Ricky Pearsall has been a non-factor, and Jennings is operating as the No. 1 WR. Jennings’ production has been hovering around his floor of 12-14 fantasy points over the past five games.
However, this week’s matchup against Tennessee offers the perfect breakout opportunity. Jennings has been coming through with the touchdowns with four in his past five games. It’s just that the yardage has been lacking. No. 1 WRs facing the Titans have had a minimum of 75 yards in the past four games.
Jakobi Meyers (WR – JAX) vs. NYJ | DraftKings: $5,600/FanDuel: $6,100*
Jakobi Meyers has quickly ascended as the clear No. 1 WR for the Jaguars and is an excellent value play this week below $6,000 on DraftKings with relatively low rostership. He has a great matchup with the New York Jets, whose overall numbers are skewed.
The Jets are definitely more vulnerable to the run, but that should be a benefit for Meyers because his success has come through touchdowns. He’s had three straight games with a touchdown. We don’t necessarily need yardage for him to pay off at his salary as much as we need red-zone opportunities, and this could easily be his first multi-touchdown game of the season.
Davante Adams (WR – LAR) vs. DET | DraftKings: $7,200/FanDuel: $8,000*
With Puka Nacua coming off his best performance of the season, he’ll likely see extremely high rostership — potentially the highest on the slate — making Davante Adams a strong contrarian play. Adams has typically been the one with the multi-touchdown games, but Week 14 was his worst performance of the season.
Adams is currently not practicing with a hamstring injury, so you’ll need to monitor his status. However, the injury should help keep his rostership down if he plays. He offers a solid pricing discount compared to Nacua and would be a major differentiator in your lineup if he bounces back.
Additional Considerations
- A.J. Brown (WR – PHI) vs. LV | DraftKings: $6,800/FanDuel: $8,200
- Jerry Jeudy (WR – CLE) @ CHI | DraftKings: $4,400/FanDuel: $5,700
- Luther Burden III (WR – CHI) vs. CLE | DraftKings: $4,800/FanDuel: $5,700*
- Puka Nacua (WR – LAR) vs. DET | DraftKings: $8,700/FanDuel: $9,700
Tight Ends
Isaiah Likely (TE – BAL) @ CIN | DraftKings: $3,400/FanDuel: $5,200
Three tight ends will likely see the bulk of rostership this week due to the matchup — George Kittle, Harold Fannin Jr. and Theo Johnson — making Isaiah Likely an intriguing low-rostered pivot. Likely has back-to-back TE1 performances of 13 fantasy points against Cincinnati and Pittsburgh.
Likely remains cost-effective and draws a rematch with Cincinnati, the most generous tight end matchup in the league. Likely’s upside is often limited by Andrews being a red-zone favorite. However, Likely got a touchdown last week and was extremely close to a second. If he’s earned that preference from Lamar Jackson, Likely could have extreme upside this week.
Additional Considerations
- Dalton Kincaid (TE – BUF) @ NE | DraftKings: $4,500/FanDuel: $6,000
- George Kittle (TE – SF) vs. TEN | DraftKings: $5,400/FanDuel: $6,500*
D/ST
Green Bay Packers D/ST @ Denver Broncos | DraftKings: $2,800/FanDuel: $4,300
The Packers have been stingy against both the pass and run, and the Broncos have been mediocre on offense. However, despite the Broncos’ lack of offensive success, their general perception helps drive down the Packers’ D/ST salary to below $3,000, making the Packers a perfect value play.
The Broncos’ offensive line has done a good job protecting Bo Nix, so sacks may be limited, but Baker Mayfield has been prone to interceptions.
