Brandon Lowe homers again Sunday in Pirates' win

by David Leisering | Pirates Correspondent | Sun, Mar 29th 8:36pm EDT

Brandon Lowe went 2-for-3 with a double, a solo home run, and two walks to help the Pirates to a 4-3, 10-inning victory over the Mets on Sunday afternoon.

Fantasy Impact:

Lowe has been as advertised in his first three games in a Pittsburgh uniform as his home run on Sunday was his third round tripper of the year. He hit a pair of homers in his Pirates' debut on Thursday. Lowe, who came over from Tampa Bay in a three-team trade in December, is 5-for-12 with a double, three homers, four runs batted in, and a 2:1 BB:K ratio early on - good for a 1.750 OPS. He hit a career-high 39 home runs in 2021 and belted 31 last season, so he could be well on his way to another 30-home run season in 2026.
