Pederson is slashing .246/.352/.458 with nine home runs, 25 RBI, and 27 runs scored against right-handed pitching across 214 plate appearances this season, though he had gone 3-for-21 over his previous eight games entering Monday.
Fantasy Impact:
His two-run homer into the right-field seats in the third inning accounted for all of Texas' offense. Pederson finished 2-for-3 with a hit by pitch in the loss to Minnesota.
