The Athletics recalled Brian Serven from Triple-A Las Vegas on Saturday.
Fantasy Impact:
Serven has appeared in one game for the Athletics this season, going 1-for-4 with a strikeout on July 5 against the Marlins. With Nick Kurtz (thumb) landing on the injured list, Serven could see some playing time behind the plate while Jonah Heim receives more opportunities at first base.
