Fantasy Impact: Howard was part of a Texans offensive line that struggled to begin 2025, but improved as the season went on. Howard himself is a good pass blocker but could use some improvement in his run blocking game. Either way, getting a starting tackle for a fifth round pick isn’t too bad a price, even with the extension money tacked on.

The Vikings have informed DT Javon Hargrave that, barring a trade, he will be released at the start of the league year this month. (Source: Adam Schefter on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact: The move will save the Vikings $10.9 million against the cap. Minnesota informed RB Aaron Jones the same information. Hargrave totaled 3.5 sacks in his first year in Minnesota last season.
