29.
Omarion Hampton
RB - (at DEN)
In the backfield, Kimani Vidal dominated the snaps at 64% over Omarion Hampton (36%). Hampton led the way with 15 carries for 61 yards (including a 26-yard burst). The rookie also played more on third downs than the previous week and he seized the red-zone work for the second straight game.
I'd expect the team to continue to lean on Hampton in what will be his third game back from IR in Week 16 versus Dallas. He has 15-plus touches in back-to-back games. In the last two games, the Chargers have a -9% pass rate over expectation. Weeks 1-13: +4%. If Dallas doesn't have Quinnen Williams...wheels up for the Chargers' rushing attack. |
