Adonai Mitchell recorded a season-high 102 receiving yards and a touchdown on 8 catches (12 targets, 36% target share) against the Falcons. Also drew a 13th target that resulted in a DPI.
He caught 7 of those passes for 97 yards and a touchdown against Falcons cornerback Mike Hughes (Nex Gen Stats). Mitchell's 7 catches against Hughes are tied for the most catches of any receiver against a single defender in a game this season, and his 97 yards against Hughes are tied for the 4th-most.
John Metchie also saw volume (eight targets) but this time he was inefficient compared to AD Mitchell.
With no timetable for Garrett Wilson's return... Mitchell/Metchie look like the top two WRs for New York the rest of the way. Great schedule for WRs ROS. Worth the add for the former Colts WR after a breakout performance with his new team.
