Fantasy Football Player Notes

All of a sudden, a Texans team that was desperate at receiver now has Collins and the 2024 fourth overall pick out wide. With an abysmal run game and Jayden Higgins already out for the season, the Texans were desperate for another playmaker. Now that they have Harrison, we may finally see them commit to the passing attack and potentially force defenses to not hyperfixate on Collins. It's unlikely Harrison will play a lot this week, but in the long term this could be a good thing for Collins' efficiency. Ideally, the potential decrease in targets and increase in efficiency should keep Collins healthy. Having only played three games this season, this has been his biggest barrier. In Week 6, the team travels to London to face the Jaguars, who have spent the entire week there. The Jags are allowing the third most passing yards per game, setting Collins up for a bounce-back game after only having 56 yards last week.

Marvin Harrison Jr. could see a career rebirth in Houston, but I'm not expecting that to begin in Week 6. Harrison Jr. has to get some practice reps with CJ Stroud and learn Houston's playbook. While he easily could be active this week with a small package of plays, it's impossible to feel good about plugging him into a fantasy lineup for Week 6.
