Tonight’s slate of NBA action features just eight games. While that’s a little bit less than what we’re used to on Wednesdays, there are still some great games and matchups to target when setting your DraftKings lineups. The highest over/unders of the night are KN/HOU (221.5), UTA/LAC (222.5), and NO/GSW (240.5). Those games should feature a lot of scoring and a lot of DK Points and should be utilized when setting lineups. Still, other games on tonight’s slate have players to target as well.
I’m paying up at the PG spot tonight because of some strong anticipated performances, but there are some solid cheaper plays at other positions. Here are the players I like most tonight. While you can’t play all of them, any of these guys will make fine additions to your DraftKings lineups. Good luck!

Point Guard
Stephen Curry (PG/SG – GSW): $10,100 vs. NO
Curry has been on fire recently, averaging 54.8 DK Points per game since his Christmas Day dud. His recent hot streak includes a season-high 48 points and 74.5 DK Points against Dallas on Sunday. He’s also drained at least 10 three-pointers in two of his last five games, draining 37 of his 75 attempts in that span for a ridiculous 49.3 percent success rate. After thumping the Nuggets and claiming the top spot in the West last night, Curry gets a prime matchup against the generous Pelicans defense at Oracle. I think he’ll stay productive and continue to make it rain.

Damian Lillard (PG – POR): $9,000 vs. CLE
Lillard is one of the league’s most prolific scorers at 26.0 points per game, and he shouldn’t have any problem finding the basket in tonight’s home game against the Cavaliers. The Cavs have surrendered the third-most DK Points per game to opposing PGs, and they are one of just four teams allowing over 50.0 DK Points per game to that position. Lillard has a high floor and a much higher ceiling in this game.
Also consider: D’Angelo Russell @ HOU, Elfrid Payton @ GSW
Shooting Guard
Luka Doncic (SG/SF – DAL): $8,400 vs. SA
Doncic has been a revelation for the Mavs this season, stuffing the stat sheet almost every single night and leading his team in scoring. The sure-fire Rookie of the Year has averaged 38.7 DK Points per game this season, but he’s averaged just over 50 DK Points per game in his last four. He gets a home matchup against a poor defense tonight, making him a recommended play.
Alec Burks (PG/SG – CLE): $5,200 @ POR
Burks has been a great addition to the Cavs since being traded from the Jazz earlier this season, and his play as of late has been stellar. Over his last two games, Burks has averaged 15 points, 10 rebounds, four assists, and a steal in 30 minutes of action. His 43.8 DK Points against the Lakers on Sunday were a season-high. He should be able to carry positive momentum into tonight’s road game in Portland.
Also consider: Klay Thompson vs. NO, C.J. McCollum vs. CLE
Small Forward
Joe Harris (SG/SF – BKN): $4,600 @ HOU
The Nets/Rockets game has one of the evening’s highest over/unders, and Harris should continue to start and play a solid allotment of minutes with injuries still plaguing Brooklyn. Harris has averaged just south of 30 minutes per game this season, and he’s proven that he can be productive across multiple statistical categories, averaging 13.3 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per game. In his last five games with at least 30 minutes played, he’s averaged 29 DK Points, meaning that his $4,600 salary makes him a value play tonight.
Darius Miller (SF/PF – NO): $3,500 @ GSW
Miller’s production has been up-and-down this season, but he definitely has a chance to score some points in this game. Although E’Twaun Moore is back into the fold after recovering from his quad injury, Miller has still averaged 24 minutes in Moore’s last two games, and the two both played 29 minutes in Monday’s win over the Clippers. The over/under here is 240.5, meaning many players should get involved and at such a cheap price, I like Miller to hit value and then some.
Also consider: Kyle Korver @ LAC, DeMarre Carroll @ HOU
Power Forward
Montrezl Harrell (PF/C – LAC): $7,200 vs. UTA
Harrell has certainly had a roller coaster of a season, experiencing some productive stretches of games as well as some quiet stretches. In his last four games, however, Harrell is averaging 21.5 points and nine rebounds. He’s also upped his assist totals, averaging 3.8 per game compared to his season average of 1.8 per game. Harrell’s points, boards, and assists are all career-highs in his fourth year out of Louisville. He’s been strong on defense this year, averaging 1.4 blocks and 0.9 steals per game. His ability to stuff the stat sheet both offensively and defensively make him a valuable play on most nights, but a favorable matchup against Utah makes him even more appealing.
Al-Farouq Aminu (SF/PF – POR): $5,300 vs. CLE
Aminu has averaged 11.0 points and 11.5 rebounds over his last two games, adding five assists and two steals. He won’t wow in the scoring department (having scored in double-digits in less than half of his games this year), but his solid rebounding gives him the upside of a nightly double-double. I like him tonight against a short-handed Cavs squad that is missing Larry Nance Jr.
Also consider: Nikola Mirotic @ GSW, P.J. Tucker vs. BKN
Center
Rudy Gobert (C – UTA): $8,500 @ LAC
Gobert is a walking double-double with 36 to his name this season. He’s averaging 14.8 points and 12.8 boards per game this year, and his two blocks per game add another dimension to his fantasy value. Tonight, Gobert will play a Clippers team featuring Boban Marjonavic and Marcin Gortat, two centers ill-equipped to handle him under the basket.
Jarrett Allen (C – BKN): $5,600 @ HOU
Allen was listed in this article last week and had a fairly quiet output. In two games since January 9, however, he’s averaged 38.5 DK Points and his salary is surprisingly $200 less than what it was on the 9th. The matchup with Houston may not seem favorable, but the Rockets just lost Clint Capela (thumb) for the next four to six weeks. It looks like the team plans to start Nene Hilario at center for now with Marquese Chriss and Isaiah Hartenstein mixing in. Allen should have no problem producing a solid line against a now-weak Rockets frontcourt.
Also consider: DeAndre Jordan vs. SA, Brook Lopez @ MEM
Dirt Cheap Bonus
Grayson Allen (PG/SG – UTA): $3,300 @ LAC
The former Duke standout has a great opportunity tonight against the Clippers who are allowing the eighth most points to opposing PGs this season at 48.01 per game. He’s the default backup to Donovan Mitchell with Dante Exum (ankle), Raul Neto (groin), and Ricky Rubio (hamstring) all ruled out. He played 20 minutes for just the third time this season on Monday, totaling 13.8 DK Points, his most of the season. Priced at almost the bare-minimum, playing Allen allows you to spend up elsewhere.
