Sabonis has found another gear of late for Indy

First of all thoughts and prayers are with the family of Kobe Bryant may he rest in peace. A true legend and student of the game and an amazing human being. With that said let’s take a look at tonight’s slate offers us a limited 6 games in which to choose players from. Keep a close eye on the Rockets vs Trail Blazer game as that should provide us a decent amount of our starters. The lock of the week tonight is Domantas Sabonis he should be a fantasy stud.

Guards

Damian Lillard (G – POR): $10,500 vs. HOU
Lillard over his last 5 games has averaged 69.3 fantasy points. He faces the Rockets who give up the 5th most fantasy points to opposing guard. Lillard as of late has been hot and should continue to get his vs the Rockets. Look for Lillard to provide you close to 65 fantasy points tonight.

Eric Gordon (G – HOU): $7,300 @ POR
Gordon over his last 5 games has averaged 35.9 fantasy points. He faces the Trail Blazers who give up the 4th most fantasy points to opposing guards. The Trail Blazers also have the 27th ranked defense in the NBA. Gordon’s points will be slightly dependent on if James Harden plays or not, but he should still get you close to 40 fantasy points tonight.

Reggie Bullock (G – NYK): $4,000 vs. MEM
Bullock has been up and down but is getting enough minutes that he could potentially put up some big numbers. He plays the Grizzlies who give up the 3rd most fantasy points to opposing guards. Bullock should be able to put up decent enough stats to get you 25 fantasy points.

Mike Conley (G – UTA): $3,800 vs. SAS
Conley over his last 5 games has been averaging a mediocre 15 fantasy points, but his luck is about to change as he faces the Spurs tonight, who give up the 6th most fantasy points to opposing point guards. The Spurs also have the 22nd ranked defense in the NBA. Conley should snap out of his funk and give you close to 25 fantasy points tonight.

Forwards

Domantas Sabonis (F – IND): $9,400 vs. CHI
Sabonis over his last 5 games has averaged 47.9 fantasy points. Tonight he plays the Bulls who give up the most fantasy points to opposing forwards. Sabonis is coming off a triple-double and should be able to repeat this feat against a weak Bulls team. He should be able to get you close to 65 fantasy points tonight.

Jaren Jackson Jr. (F – MEM): $6,400 @ NYK
Jackson Jr. over his last 5 games has averaged 33 fantasy points. He faces the Knicks who give up the 9th most fantasy points to opposing forwards. The Knicks also rank  24th in defensive rating in the NBA. Jackson Jr. should put up some big numbers tonight and give you close to 40 fantasy points.

Tauren Prince (F – BKN): $5,000 vs. DET
Prince over his last 5 games has averaged 24.8 fantasy points. He faces the Pistons who give up the 8th most fantasy points to opposing forwards. The Pistons also rank 21st in defensive rating in the NBA. Prince should be able to be a great value play and give you close to 25 fantasy points.

PJ Tucker (F – HOU): $4,600 @ POR
Tucker over his last 5 games has averaged 23.8 fantasy points. He faces the Trail Blazers who give up the 3rd most fantasy points to opposing power forwards. The Trail Blazers also have the 27th ranked defense in the NBA. Tucker tonight should give you close to 30 fantasy points and is a great value play.

Centers

Andre Drummond (C – DET): $9,700 @ BKN
Drummon is questionable to play tonight so his situation is worth monitoring but he faces the Nets who give up the 3rd most fantasy points to opposing centers. If Drummond is available to play he should be able to get you close to 55 fantasy points.

Jakob Poeltl (C – SAS): $5,600 vs UTA
With LaMarcus Aldridge out, Poeltl should get all the minutes he can handle. The Jazz are a tough team and Poeltl may not put up 40 fantasy points again but he should be able to provide you close to 28 fantasy points. He is a great value play for tonight’s slate.
