Welcome to my weekly prospect report at FantasyPros. The goal of this column is to give you the most fantasy-relevant prospect information throughout the last week in one place. Fantasy Baseball Waiver Wire Assistant Analyze Moves Who To Pick Up

I won’t be hitting every prospect every week but will focus on the most relevant players throughout the week. I will also follow up with other notable players who didn’t make my top 150 cut. This article will not focus on any AAAA-type players or veterans in the minors who have outlived their prospect status.

NOTE: Rookie status is determined by 130 at-bats or 50 innings pitched at MLB level.

*All stats as of Sunday, April 7th.

Fantasy Baseball Prospect Report

MLB Hitters

      • Season: .265/.316/.353 | 7.9 BB% / 21.1 K%| 2 XBH, 0 HR, 0 SB
      • This Week: 6/28 | 2 XBH, 0 HR, 0 SB
      • Notes: Langford is making great contact, barreling the ball and hitting it in the air. The last week was more or less a fluke as he’s doing all the right things.
      • Season: .208/.406/.333 | 21.9 BB% / 9.4 K%| 3 XBH, 0 HR, 1 SB
      • This Week: 5/23 | 3 XBH, 0 HR, 1 SB
      • Notes: Carter has a 166 wRC+ but we would like to see him hitting the ball harder with only an 85.5 average EV so far.
      • Season: .276/.300/.517 | 3.3 BB% / 33.3 K%| 3 XBH, 2 HR, 1 SB
      • This Week: 5/2 | 3 XBH, 2 HR, 0 SB
      • Notes: A 23.1% barrel rate is unsustainable. Despite terrible plate skills thus far, his tools are making it work and he’s hitting the ball in the zone with a 90.9% Z-Contact rate.
      • Season: N/A
      • This Week: N/A
      • Notes: Dominguez is on the injured list (IL) after getting Tommy John surgery late last season. He is on track for a return around June.
      • Season: N/A
      • This Week: N/A
      • Notes: Marte was suspended for the first half of the season due to PEDs. He may need some time in the minors to ramp up even before the return. We will see how the Reds treat him as they might send him down as a punishment of sorts.
      • Season: .208/.321/.250 | 14.3 BB% / 14.3 K%| 1 XBH, 0 HR, 1 SB
      • This Week: 4/19 | 1 XBH, 0 HR, 1 SB
      • Notes: Keith is hitting the ball decently hard, though he has more power in that tank and maximizing by hitting line drives (38.5% rate so far). The contact rate and plate skills all look good but he has a tough home park and it’s cold right now… I expect him to get better as the weather warms up.
      • Season: .233/.324/.400 | 11.8 BB% / 20.6 K%| 3 XBH, 1 HR, 0 SB
      • This Week: 5/18 | 2 XBH, 1 HR, 0 SB
      • Notes: He’s hitting the ball hard but we want more liners. The contact skills are insane despite a 48.6% chase rate to date. He has a 97% contact rate.
      • Season: .455/.455/.636 | 0 BB% / 27.3 K%| 2 XBH, 0 HR, 0 SB
      • This Week: 4/10 | 1 XBH, 0 HR, 0 SB
      • Notes: Cowser needs more opportunity if he’s going to be on the big league squad. Between the lackluster starts of Austin Hays and Ryan O’Hearn, hopefully, it’s coming soon.
      • Season: .185/.250/.296 | 6.3 BB% / 28.1 K%| 2 XBH, 0 HR, 1 SB
      • This Week: 1/20 | 0 XBH, 0 HR, 1 SB
      • Notes: Rafaela’s elite defense will keep him in the lineup when most guys would be sitting. We might see him lose some opportunity to Wilyer Abreu if he continues to struggle. The hit tool isn’t the problem, it’s the terrible plate skills, which is why I emphasize this with prospects and in my fScores.
      • Season: N/A
      • This Week: N/A
      • Notes: Mauricio tore his ACL in the Dominican Winter League and won’t be back until August, at the earliest.
      • Season: .091/.167/.152 | 5.6 BB% / 30.6 K%| 2 XBH, 0 HR, 1 SB
      • This Week: 3/25 | 2 XBH, 0 HR, 0 SB
      • Notes: There’s a chance Scott goes down when Lars Nootbaar comes back on Monday. However, the defense has been good enough to earn him more reps, similar to Rafaela. He is hitting the ball hard but has not been barreling the ball. He’s also been hitting the ball in the air too much for someone whose game is based on speed. The hit tool and plate skills all look good. He has a .188 batting average on balls in play (BABIP), so there is some bad luck in play for a guy who should run closer to a .350 BABIP.
      • Season: .313/.389/.313 | 11.1 BB% / 11.1 K%| 0 XBH, 0 HR, 0 SB
      • This Week: 4/14 | 0 XBH, 0 HR, 0 SB
      • Notes: Mead is not hitting the ball hard or barreling the ball, but he’s a great contact hitter. The plate skills are not there as he has a 48.8% chase rate, which means he could be pressing to make things happen and get more ABs.
      • Season: .154/.154/.385 | 0 BB% / 46.2 K%| 1 XBH, 1 HR, 0 SB
      • This Week: 2/13 | 1 XBH, 1 HR, 0 SB
      • Notes: Pauley’s hitting the ball hard but has no barrels (not even on the homer). The contact skills are below average and so are the plate skills. He’s better than what he’s done, but unless the contact skills improve or he makes barrels, we are looking at a 2023 Brett Baty-like season.
      • Season: .375/.333/.563 | 0 BB% / 16.7 K%| 1 XBH, 1 HR, 0 SB
      • This Week: 6/18 | 1 XBH, 1 HR, 0 SB
      • Notes: Herrera might be the best backup catcher in baseball and should get a decent amount of playing time this year when Wilson Contreras is in at DH. He’s hitting the cover off the ball so far this season with a 26.7% barrel rate and 96.1 average EV.
      • Season: N/A
      • This Week: N/A
      • Notes: Foscue was just promoted after the Josh Jung injury, but with Jared Walsh playing so well and Ezequiel Duran covering 3B, I’m not sure how much playing time he will get. He’s likely slotted just to replace Duran as the super UTIL guy.

MLB PITCHERS

      • Season: 5 IP | 20.8 K-BB%, 20.2% SwStr% | 3.16 SIERA
      • This Week: 4 IP | 29.4 K-BB%, 23.4% SwStr% | 2.23 SIERA
      • Notes: Mason Miller has been fire so far. Still has zero saves because the Athletics are terrible.
      • Season: 5 IP | 10.5 K-BB%, 8.9% SwStr% | 4.48 SIERA
      • This Week: 5 IP | 10.5 K-BB%, 8.9% SwStr% | 4.48 SIERA
      • Notes: Meyer didn’t have the best start against the Angels but St. Louis is next. I’m starting him against the struggling Cardinals lineup. He should improve the K rate and lower the walk rate based on his track record.
      • Season: 11 IP | 13 K-BB%, 8.6% SwStr% | 4.49 SIERA
      • This Week: 5 IP | 4.3 K-BB%, 10.3% SwStr% | 5.24 SIERA
      • Notes: Harrison started against the Padres and the Dodgers, so not the easiest first two starts of the season. Being in the NL West, he better get used to it. I wouldn’t put too much into this week’s start against the Dodgers — they’re going to blow guys up all year.
      • Season: 11 2/3 IP | 31.2 K-BB%, 20.7% SwStr% | 2.23 SIERA
      • This Week: 6 IP | 28 K-BB%, 22.5% SwStr% | 2.24 SIERA
      • Notes: Jared Jones has been one of the 5-10 most impressive starters in baseball this season. Acquire him if you can still get him relatively cheap. Make trade offers in keeper and dynasty leagues. If I were re-doing the rankings today, he would be an easy top-40 pitcher ahead of Meyer, maybe Andrew Painter.
      • Season: 5 2/3 IP | 11.1 K-BB%, 12.5% SwStr% | 3.91 SIERA
      • This Week: 5 2/3 IP | 11.1 K-BB%, 12.5% SwStr% | 3.91 SIERA
      • Notes: Brown came up to replace the injured Justin Steele and may take a rotation spot until Jameson Taillon returns, or he might just be a piggyback. I like Brown decently enough, hence my top-100 ranking.
      • Season: 1 IP | 0 K-BB%, 0% SwStr% | 4.56 SIERA
      • This Week (in AAA): 3 1/3 IP | 0 K-BB%, 15.8% SwStr%
      • Notes: Beeter pitched a game out of the pen but they moved him back down to AAA to start, which is smart in the event they run into injuries. Though Beeter’s best role in the future might be as a high-leverage reliever where his stuff plays up against his poor control.
      • Season: 5 IP | 21.7 K-BB%, 18.8% SwStr% | 3.15 SIERA
      • This Week: 5 IP | 21.7 K-BB%, 18.8% SwStr% | 3.15 SIERA
      • Notes: Stone looked insane against the Cardinals in his first start. I am interested to see how his next outing goes. Stone is a guy I had previously as a top-60-ish starter. Now that he seems back into his 2022 form, he would bounce back up that way if I was re-ranking.
      • Season: 5 IP | 25 K-BB%, 9.3% SwStr% | 3.77 SIERA
      • This Week: 4 IP | 18.8 K-BB%, 11.1% SwStr% | 3.26 SIERA
      • Notes: I’ve been a big fan of Roupp as a reliever and mentioned in my prospect article he reminds me of a lesser Corbin Burnes in reliever form. He’s a great add for deep leagues or points leagues. I’d take him over Beeter and Brown if re-ranking.
      • Season: 9 1/3 IP | 4.4 K-BB%, 6.1% SwStr% | 5.14 SIERA
      • This Week: 5 1/3 IP | 12 K-BB%, 6.7% SwStr% | 4.11 SIERA
      • Notes: Hall looked rough in his first start against the underrated Mets but course-corrected his second time out vs. the Mariners, despite a horrendous .444 BABIP. He’s had some bad luck but there is no doubt the stuff is down as a starter vs. when he was in relief last year. I’m taking him over the relievers if re-ranking, but sticking with Stone over Hall.

AAA HITTERS

      • Season: .333/.429/.583 | 14.3 BB% / 21.4 K%| 1 XBH, 1 HR, 1 SB
      • This Week: N/A
      • Notes: Caminero hit the seven-day minor league IL with quad tightness. There is no date on his return.
      • Season: .343/.478/.629 | 19.6 BB% / 17.4 K%| 6 XBH, 2 HR, 1 SB
      • This Week: 7/26 | 3 XBH, 1 HR, 1 SB
      • Notes: Holliday should be in the majors. We will see him as soon as the Orioles get that extra year of eligibility.
      • Season: .357/.526/.500 | 26.3 BB% / 26.3 K%| 2 XBH, 0 HR, 0 SB
      • This Week: 2/7 | 1 XBH, 0 HR, 0 SB
      • Notes: Wood is showing great discipline and has been hitting the ball hard (mostly on the ground) so far this young season. Wood only played in two games this week, so I’m assuming he was a little dinged.
      • Season: N/A
      • This Week: N/A
      • Notes: Lawlar is on the IL for at least two months after undergoing thumb surgery.
      • Season: .281/.324/.563 | 5.9 BB% / 17.6 K%| 5 XBH, 1 HR, 4 SB
      • This Week: 6/22 | 4 XBH, 1 HR, 3 SB
      • Notes: Crow-Armstrong will have to show better plate discipline before getting called up but he’s been electric when it comes to making things happen. He should get the call within the next couple of months.
      • Season: .241/.333/.276 | 8.8 BB% / 32.4 K%| 1 XBH, 0 HR, 0 SB
      • This Week: 5/21 | 1 XBH, 0 HR, 0 SB
      • Notes: Montgomery is off to a slow start. With his health track record, it might be more important to have health and build into consistency than to press too hard for a big league spot.
      • Season: .250/.333/.357 | 9.1 BB% / 24.2 K%| 2 XBH, 0 HR, 0 SB
      • This Week: 7/28 | 2 XBH, 0 HR, 0 SB
      • Notes: Black missed his shot at making the Opening Day roster, getting beat out by Joey Ortiz after a stellar 2023. He will have to resume his push onto the roster as he will be competing with Brock Wilken for a future spot.
      • Season: .211/.292/.421 | 12.5 BB% / 25 K%| 2 XBH, 0 HR, 0 SB
      • This Week: 4/15 | 2 XBH, 0 HR, 0 SB
      • Notes: Manzardo will have to fight for his spot after being left off the roster. Again (and by a new team).
      • Season: .500/.548/1.111 | 9.5 BB% / 16.7 K%| 10 XBH, 6 HR, 0 SB
      • This Week: 13/28 | 9 XBH, 6 HR, 0 SB
      • Notes: Kjerstad is a good enough hitter he would be starting on almost every team in the majors, just not the Orioles. He’s making a case for himself to be starting at 1B over O’Hearn with an insane beginning of the season.
      • Season: N/A
      • This Week: N/A
      • Notes: Quero has been out since after his first AB with a shoulder injury. We are still waiting for more information on the timeline and severity of the injury.
      • Season: .286/.412/.357 | 17.6 BB% / 17.6 K%| 1 XBH, 0 HR, 1 SB
      • This Week: 4/14 | 1 XBH, 0 HR, 1 SB
      • Notes: Clase could be fighting for a late-season call-up. He has zero stolen bases because you need to get on base first to steal bags.
      • Season: .405/.476/.676 | 9.5 BB% / 31 K%| 5 XBH, 2 HR, 1 SB
      • This Week: 11/27 | 4 XBH, 2 HR, 1 SB
      • Notes: Mayo is off to a strong start XBH-wise, however, the plate skills need to look better if he’s going to get a call-up, especially considering he might be battling Kjerstad for a roster spot. I’ve always been down on Mayo because the hit tool is slightly below average and the plate skills are below average. The power is definitely there, though.
      • Season: .360/.484/.480 | 16.1 BB% / 32.3 K%| 3 XBH, 0 HR, 0 SB
      • This Week: 3/17 | 1 XBH, 0 HR, 0 SB
      • Notes: Caissie might also be battling for a roster spot later in the season but that depends on health and what spot might open up. We might see DH or 1B open up before a corner OF spot.
      • Season: .240/.321/.360 | 7.1 BB% / 35.7 K%| 1 XBH, 1 HR, 0 SB
      • This Week: 5/17 | 0 XBH, 0 HR, 0 SB
      • Notes: Gilbert looks like he’s trying too hard and needs to settle into AAA. He’s probably not looking at a call-up until later in the season.
      • Season: .133/.188/.233 | 26.3 BB% / 26.3 K%| 1 XBH, 1 HR, 0 SB
      • This Week: 3/21 | 0 XBH, 0 HR, 0 SB
      • Notes: Acuna could potentially beat Drew Gilbert up thanks to the Mauricio injury but there’s a good chance the Mets hold many of these guys down in the minors until September. Acuna is overrated a bit due to the name and is being bumped up above his level.
      • Season: .320/.428/.720 | 18.8 BB% / 34.4 K%| 5 XBH, 2 HR, 0 SB
      • This Week: 6/18 | 4 XBH, 1 HR, 0 SB
      • Notes: Beck hit a couple of monster home runs. It’s the PCL, so we have to take some power with a grain of salt, but the fact he’s in AAA, while Sterling Thompson and Yanquiel Fernandez aren’t is a good sign for him in the OF pecking order in Colorado.
      • Season: .259/.290/.815 | 26.3 BB% / 26.3 K%| 5 XBH, 5 HR, 1 SB
      • This Week: 4/19 | 2 XBH, 2 HR, 1 SB
      • Notes: Loperfido barely missed the cut with the Astros, to good ole Jon Singleton, but I would expect him up in the majors if there are any OF injuries. The power he is showing is insane.
      • Season: .194/.297/.323 | 13.5 BB% / 37.8 K%| 2 XBH, 1 HR, 0 SB
      • This Week: 4/23 | 1 XBH, 1 HR, 0 SB
      • Notes: Jung looks a lot like Nolan Gorman working his way up. He will have to show better plate skills to come up with Justyn Henry-Malloy not even getting the call yet. He’s struggling a bit to start the season.
      • Season: .167/.231/.208 | 7.7 BB% / 42.3 K%| 1 XBH, 0 HR, 0 SB
      • This Week: 4/17 | 1 XBH, 0 HR, 0 SB
      • Notes: The 2023 AA hitting champ is off to a slow start this week at AAA after a strong spring training. He did hit a homer on Sunday, though (not shown above). He might be turning a corner on the cold streak.
      • Season: .333/.484/.417 | 19.4 BB% / 35.5 K%| 2 XBH, 0 HR, 1 SB
      • This Week: 5/16 | 1 XBH, 0 HR, 1 SB
      • Notes: Justyn Henry-Malloy is looking to transfer full-time to a corner OF spot and has shown the plate skills for the majors. He needs to show good enough defense to get the call.
      • Season: .385/.432/.795 | 6.8 BB% / 18.2 K%| 8 XBH, 4 HR, 0 SB
      • This Week: 9/28 | 6 XBH, 3 HR, 0 SB
      • Notes: The Orioles’ minor league squad is ridiculous between Kjerstad, Mayo and Norby. Who is going to make it up into a starting role? Who is destined for the bench? Who is trade bait? Norby is the Michael Busch of the Orioles.
      • Season: .219/.342/.313 | 10.5 BB% / 15.8 K%| 2 XBH, 0 HR, 2 SB
      • This Week: 6/25 | 2 XBH, 0 HR, 2 SB
      • Notes: Pages had a strong spring and is looking to show he’s healthy and ready to rip. In the event of a Dodgers injury he could get the call, even before Miguel Vargas.
      • Season: .407/.556/.481 | 25 BB% / 27.8 K%| 2 XBH, 0 HR, 1 SB
      • This Week: 11/24 | 2 XBH, 0 HR, 1 SB
      • Notes: Luciano was sent down in a bit of a shocker but it might be the best long-term move for his development if he can improve his plate skills at AAA. He’s looking good so far at AAA.
      • Season: .148/.233/.519 | 6.7 BB% / 26.7 K%| 4 XBH, 1 HR, 0 SB
      • This Week: 4/24 | 4 XBH, 1 HR, 0 SB
      • Notes: Soderstrom has a good amount of work to do in the minors after being promoted a year too early in 2023. I might drop him out of my top 150 in the next rankings.
      • Season: .160/.333/.200 | 18.2 BB% / 30.3 K%| 1 XBH, 0 HR, 4 SB
      • This Week: 3/18 | 1 XBH, 0 HR, 3 SB
      • Notes: Bliss had a very strong year in the minors in 2023 but it may have been a bit luck-oriented. We will see if the hit tool is real as this minor league season progresses.
      • Season: .261/.387/.391 | 19.4 BB% / 19.4 K%| 3 XBH, 0 HR, 0 SB
      • This Week: 5/16 | 2 XBH, 0 HR, 0 SB
      • Notes: Mervis is probably blocked on the Cubs roster but he might be a nice throw-in on a trade and would probably be starting for the Nationals or Athletics.
      • Season: .143/.226/.179 | 9.7 BB% / 29 K%| 1 XBH, 0 HR, 0 SB
      • This Week: 3/22 | 1 XBH, 0 HR, 0 SB
      • Notes: Bigbie is another guy with a strong 2023 out of nowhere who we will learn if it’s real or not. The issue is where would he play in Detroit?
      • Season: .333/.381/.872 | 2.4 BB% / 14.3 K%| 9 XBH, 6 HR, 0 SB
      • This Week: 9/30 | 8 XBH, 5 HR, 0 SB
      • Notes: Stowers had a killer spring and is off to a hot start in AAA. Just one more Orioles prospect to block up the depth chart.
      • Season: .350/.536/.550 | 28.6 BB% / 14.3 K%| 2 XBH, 1 HR, 2 SB
      • This Week: 9/30 | 1 XBH, 0 HR, 2 SB
      • Notes: Horwitz is an older guy but should be in the majors and is competing against Damiano Palmegiani for that next corner-hitting roster spot.
      • Season: .429/.520/.857 | 16 BB% / 4 K%| 5 XBH, 2 HR, 2 SB
      • This Week: 5/13 | 1 XBH, 0 HR, 2 SB
      • Notes: Fermin had a strong spring and is taking it into AAA. He looks like a classic, legit late-blooming super UTIL guy the Cardinals are experts in developing.
      • Season: .290/.371/.645 | 5.7 BB% / 22.9 K%| 4 XBH, 3 HR, 0 SB
      • This Week: 9/27 | 3 XBH, 3 HR, 0 SB
      • Notes: We have been here before with Ramos. He might be a AAAA player or a guy who can’t break out due to his skills in San Fran. He is again performing in the minors.
      • Season: .242/.324/.333 | 5.7 BB% / 22.9 K%| 2 XBH, 0 HR, 3 SB
      • This Week: 7/25 | 2 XBH, 0 HR, 3 SB
      • Notes: Dunn has moved quickly because he’s older but he also served in the military. He could make an impact on the Reds this season.

Note: Miguel Vargas is raking but he is no longer prospect eligible.

AAA PITCHERS

  • #10 Paul Skenes (SP – PIT)
      • Season: 6 IP | 50 K-BB%, 21.1 SwStr%
      • This Week: 3 IP | 45.5 K-BB%
      • Notes: Dominant stuff as Skenes seems to be in extended spring, ramping up for his debut in a month or so.
  • #21 Ricky Tiedemann (SP – TOR)
      • Season: 4 1/3 IP | -12.5 K-BB%, 11 SwStr%
      • This Week: 4 1/3 IP | -12.5 K-BB%
      • Notes: Tiedemann was roughed up a little in his first go-around this season. I’m not concerned.
  • #55 AJ Smith-Shawver (SP – ATL)
      • Season: 2/3 IP | -28.6 K-BB%, 13.8 SwStr%
      • This Week: 2/3 IP | -28.6 K-BB%
      • Notes: Smith-Shawver had one really bad outing. It’s such a small sample size, though, you can’t draw anything from it. He could get the call with the Spencer Strider injury, or it could be Bryce Elder or Dylan Dodd.
      • Season: 6 2/3 IP | 26.7 K-BB%, 15.9 SwStr%
      • This Week: 3 2/3 IP | 10 K-BB%
      • Notes: The Giants were aggressively promoting Whisenhunt to AAA to start the year. I love it and am looking forward to a debut at some point in 2024 (probably in the second half). The first start was phenomenal and the second was below average.
      • Season: 5 2/3 IP | 4 K-BB%, 14.1 SwStr%

      • Notes: Anthony DeSclafani is likely out for the year, so Festa steps in as the defacto sixth man in the rotation in the event of an injury. You would like to see much better control moving forward — it’s been bad through his first two outings.
      • Season: 7 IP | 7.9 K-BB%, 10.9 SwStr%
      • This Week: 4 IP | 0 K-BB%
      • Notes: Looks like he added a tick to his fastball this offseason, which is his worst pitch and can only help him. The BBs were uncharacteristic and he had some bad BABIP luck in the start but Rodriguez is one to watch — despite many knocking him because of the lack of fastball velo. The second start was a piggyback, which may have thrown him off.
      • Season: 11 IP | 9.8 K-BB%, 12.3 SwStr%
      • This Week: 6 IP | -4 K-BB%
      • Notes: Mena is underrated as a fresh 21-year-old. He’s seventh in the pecking order for a rotation spot with the Diamondbacks and should have a good shot at a call-up at some point this season as long as he can maintain the strides in his control. Welcome to the PCL.
      • Season: 2 1/3 IP | -25 K-BB%, 4.5 SwStr%
      • This Week: N/A
      • Notes: Vasil struggled with the robo ump in 2023 and is off to a pretty bad start in 2024.
      • Season: 6 IP | 0 K-BB%, 8.2 SwStr%
      • This Week: 6 IP | 0 K-BB%
      • Notes: Phillips needs to work on the control if he’s going to be an effective starter. My bet is he ends up a reliever long-term.
      • Season: 8 2/3 IP | 23.7 K-BB%, 8 SwStr%
      • This Week: 3 2/3 IP | 20 K-BB%
      • Notes: Black was the last cut on the Giants. If there’s an injury pre-Robbie Ray comeback, he could be first up (with Kai-Wei Teng already coming up). Velo was down a couple of ticks from 2023, so keep an eye on it. Besides that, he’s pretty close to the majors.
      • Season: 7 2/3 IP | 12.5 K-BB%, 7.7 SwStr%
      • This Week: 2 2/3 IP | 17.6 K-BB%
      • Notes: Graceffo fell off in 2023 after a stellar 2022. His velocity is also down a tick and a half but it did look like his control was back from 2022.
      • Season: 3 IP | 16.7 K-BB%, 14.3 SwStr%
      • This Week: 3 IP | 16.7 K-BB%
      • Notes: Nastrini had a rough start against the best team in the minors, the Norfolk Tides, but he had decent underlying metrics.
      • Season: 4 1/3 IP | -16 K-BB%, 13.1 SwStr%
      • This Week: 2 IP | -18.2 K-BB%
      • Notes: Flores is already relieving in AAA and would likely not make my top 150 as a reliever when I re-rank.
      • Season: 4 1/3 IP | 4.5 K-BB%, 10.3 SwStr%
      • This Week: 4 1/3 IP | 4.5 K-BB%
      • Notes: Fitts is likely the next man up for the Red Sox after Lucas Giolito‘s injury. The good news is the rest of the Red Sox rotation is looking fantastic.
      • Season: 4 IP | 52.9 K-BB%, 22 SwStr%
      • This Week: 4 IP | 52.9 K-BB%
      • Notes: Scott looked fantastic in his first AAA start. It’s going to be hard for the Mets to hold him down once they gain the extra year of arbitration. He should be bumped up into the top 100, easily.
      • Season: 5 IP | 3 K-BB%, 12.4 SwStr%
      • This Week: 3 IP | 12.4 K-BB%
      • Notes: Montgomery likely won’t be ranked in my next top 150.
      • Season: 8 1/3 IP | 8.1 K-BB%, 14 SwStr%
      • This Week: 4 IP | 16.7 K-BB%
      • Notes: Arrighetti has added some velo but it won’t matter if he’s walking everyone. Ronel Blanco has surpassed him on the depth chart.
      • Season: 8 1/3 IP | 36.4 K-BB%, 13.3 SwStr%
      • This Week: 3 1/3 IP | 18.8 K-BB%
      • Notes: Jack Leiter might be back. He could be the sixth man up for the Rangers at this point, so keep an eye on him. The fastball is up a tick as well.
      • Season: 5 IP | 25 K-BB%, 17.5 SwStr%
      • This Week: 5 IP | 25 K-BB%
      • Notes: The swinging strike rate was way up for Rutledge. With the increased velo of MacKenzie Gore, their pitching coaches may have figured something out finally.
      • Season: 7 2/3 IP | 2.9 K-BB%, 14.5 SwStr%
      • This Week: 3 1/3 IP | 0 K-BB%
      • Notes: The stuff was good but the control was all over the place for McDermott, who is in a battle with Cade Povich for the next man up.
      • Season: 10 IP | 21.1 K-BB%, 17.2 SwStr%
      • This Week: 5 IP | 8.7 K-BB%
      • Notes: The never-ending parade of Dodgers starters continues with Knack, who might also end up in the pen like Michael Grove, Kyle Hurt and Ryan Brasier because they are inundated with so much talent.
      • Season: N/A
      • This Week: 6 IP | 26.3 K-BB%
      • Notes: Povich looked good in his first start. Even though I like McDermott’s stuff better, Povich looks more like a back-end starter and McDermott a reliever.
      • Season: N/A
      • This Week: N/A (has not made a start yet)
      • Notes: Birdsong is the next guy up for the Giants behind Mason Black and Whisenhunt.
