Here it is. My final NFL mock draft of 2025. Heavy rumors that the Jaguars are planning to pass on Mason Graham shook this one up, but I’ve done my best to map out a scenario based on the assumption that Graham slips past the fifth overall pick.
Enjoy, and as always, feel free to contact me on X @draftexaminer with any comments, feedback, or suggestions. Happy 2025 NFL Draft Day!
2025 NFL Mock Draft
1. Tennessee Titans: Cam Ward (QB – Miami)
The Titans are all but a lock to draft Cam Ward, looking for a franchise quarterback. They’ve already mentioned that they’re not interested in trading the pick, and throughout the offseason, they haven’t shown much interest in veteran passers.
2. Cleveland Browns: Travis Hunter (WR/CB – Colorado)
It’s expected that Cleveland will draft the most unique prospect in some time. The Browns have mentioned that they view Travis Hunter as primarily a wide receiver, but based on his comments, he’ll likely get some playing time at cornerback as well.
3. New York Giants: Abdul Carter (EDGE – Penn State)
Despite having two quality rushers, it seems like the Giants will take Abdul Carter here. That could put Kayvon Thibodeaux‘s status with the team in question, so maybe teams that need an EDGE rusher will explore the possibility of acquiring one by trade.
4. New England Patriots: Will Campbell (OT – LSU)
Will Campbell is a great fit for the type of culture and identity Mike Vrabel wants. The Patriots need help at both left tackle and left guard, and protecting Drake Maye should be a priority. I like the value and pick, although some see it as a reach.
5. Jacksonville Jaguars: Ashton Jeanty (RB – Boise State)
I thought Mason Graham was a perfect blend of need/value for the Jaguars. They disagree. It seems that they want to try and find an offensive weapon with this pick, unless they’re just trying to drum up interest from a team they can trade down with.
6. Las Vegas Raiders: Armand Membou (OT – Missouri)
There are lots of Michigan connections here, which makes me think Mason Graham is a possibility, but they could also build through the trenches offensively if they’re not sure about Kolton Miller‘s status. Kelvin Banks Jr. has a Pete Carroll connection, too.
7. New York Jets: Tyler Warren (TE – Penn State)
At this point, any team should be considered as a possible destination for Mason Graham. He’d fit well in New York, especially with rumors that they want a defensive guy here. But they’ve been pretty consistently linked to Armand Membou and Tyler Warren.
8. Carolina Panthers: Jalon Walker (LB – Georgia)
I’m a bit nervous about projecting Jalon Walker here because the Panthers’ roster is currently composed of bigger EDGE defenders, so they may prefer Mykel Williams. However, they also run a Vic Fangio-influenced 3-4 defense.
9. New Orleans Saints: Mykel Williams (EDGE – Georgia)
Mickey Loomis loves drafting big EDGE defenders, so I’m pretty confident he’d be a fan of Mykel Williams. What I’m not so sure about is whether he sees EDGE as a need, given their financial commitments to Carl Granderson and, more recently, Chase Young.
10. Chicago Bears: Kelvin Banks Jr. (OT – Texas)
Chicago recently signed Grady Jarrett to give them three options inside at tackle. While I think they’d consider Mason Graham, he’s not their biggest need. They’ve invested heavily on the offensive line, but durability and financial situations are both issues.
11. San Francisco 49ers: Mason Graham (DL – Michigan)
This seems like it’ll be in the trenches, we’re just not sure which side of the ball or which position. Kelvin Banks or Armand Membou would fit very well, but it’d be hard to pass on Mason Graham. If he’s gone, Mykel Williams or Shemar Stewart make sense.
12. Dallas Cowboys: Tetairoa McMillan (WR – Arizona)
I buy the Cowboys liking Matthew Golden, and he’s arguably a better fit than Tetairoa McMillan for what Brian Schottenheimer likes to do. But McMillan is the top pure receiver in the class. It would be hard to pass on him if he’s available here.
13. Miami Dolphins: Jahdae Barron (CB – Texas)
This is a true wild card pick. The Dolphins could go for a lineman of some sort or a defensive back. Kader Kohou is a nice slot cornerback, but given Miami’s needs all over the secondary, they could find a spot for Jahdae Barron in Anthony Weaver’s zone defense.
14. Indianapolis Colts: Colston Loveland (TE – Michigan)
I’m not sure the Colts would pass on Colston Loveland even if Tyler Warren is available, so it’d be very interesting to see what happens if both are on the board. However, Chris Ballard loves to draft athletes, and Loveland is the more dynamic of the two.
15. Atlanta Falcons: Mike Green (EDGE – Marshall)
I’m looking for the Falcons to consider trading down and to focus on finding an EDGE rusher wherever they end up picking. Both Mike Green and James Pearce Jr. have been linked to Atlanta. Green could remind Falcons defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich of Dee Ford.
16. Arizona Cardinals: Derrick Harmon (DL – Oregon)
Many view the Cardinals as a candidate to draft Jahdae Barron, but they have one of the league’s top slot corners in Garrett Williams, and I’m not sure I view Barron as a boundary guy. Derrick Harmon is a high-character disruptor to help them get younger up front.
17. Cincinnati Bengals: Walter Nolen (DL – Mississippi)
I’d take Malaki Starks here, but Al Golden may want to reunite with Xavier Watts in the second round instead. Walter Nolen is risky for a team that could be without all three of its starters from last year, but they need to create pressure up front.
18. Seattle Seahawks: Grey Zabel (OL – North Dakota State)
I believe I had the Seahawks taking Grey Zabel way back in my first mock draft of the year, and he’d fit well here. I also wouldn’t rule out Nick Emmanwori or Tetairoa McMillan with this pick. Emmanwori could be Mike Macdonald’s new Kyle Hamilton.
19. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Jihaad Campbell (LB – Alabama)
Here’s another team linked to corners, but Tykee Smith had a very nice year in the nickel for Tampa Bay in 2024. I think Jihaad Campbell is a very logical pick if he checks out medically. If not, maybe Donovan Ezeiruaku, although he’s a bit smaller than they like.
20. Denver Broncos: Emeka Egbuka (WR – Ohio State)
I’ve consistently linked Emeka Egbuka to the Broncos ever since the team signed Evan Engram. Just like Michael Thomas in New Orleans, I see Egbuka as a great fit for Sean Payton’s offense and Bo Nix‘s playing style. He’d feast on short throws.
21. Pittsburgh Steelers: Shedeur Sanders (QB – Colorado)
If Derrick Harmon were available here, I’d give him some strong consideration, as he would be a great successor to Cameron Heyward. But if Shedeur Sanders fell into Pittsburgh’s lap, he’d be hard for Mike Tomlin to pass up this late.
22. Los Angeles Chargers: Kenneth Grant (DL – Michigan)
It’s possible the Dolphins or Steelers could take Kenneth Grant, but if he’s available here, I feel good about Jim Harbaugh being reunited with one of his guys. Harbaugh likes to build through the trenches, and the Chargers could use a talent injection up front.
23. Green Bay Packers: Shemar Stewart (EDGE – Texas A&M)
I know Green Bay has links to Donovan Ezeiruaku, but if the Packers have a chance to draft a big, toolsy EDGE like Mykel Williams or Shemar Stewart, those seem like good fits. I’d give Jahdae Barron strong consideration, too, although Brian Gutekunst likes longer cornerbacks.
24. Minnesota Vikings: Nick Emmanwori (DB – South Carolina)
With only four picks in the draft, Minnesota would likely be happy to trade down here, but if they end up picking in the first round, safety makes sense. Brian Flores runs a big nickel, and they’ve only got two starters on the roster, with Harrison Smith being 36.
25. Houston Texans: Tyler Booker (OG – Alabama)
Matthew Golden has to be a consideration here due to the team’s injury issues at the receiver position. All three of their current guys were hurt last year. However, I also think Tyler Booker fits the physical, gap-blocking profile the team has looked for this year.
26. Los Angeles Rams: Matthew Golden (WR – Texas)
Sean McVay has mentioned wanting to get Tutu Atwell more involved, and he’s being paid $10 million this year, but Golden would be hard to pass on at this point. Jahdae Barron or Trey Amos would be considerations, but the Rams could also bring back Jalen Ramsey.
27. Baltimore Ravens: Malaki Starks (DB – Georgia)
This is a team that runs Cover 1 at a reasonably high rate, but they also play a solid amount of zone. Ar’Darius Washington graded out very well, but is entering a contract year, and they play a third safety relatively often, too. Jahdae Barron or Malaki Starks make sense.
***Trade Alert***
28. Miami Dolphins (From Detroit): Will Johnson (CB – Miami)
If Detroit stays, some fits I like are Nic Scourton, JT Tuimoloau, Donovan Ezeiruaku and Donovan Jackson. However, I could also see the Lions moving down, as they can likely acquire one of those guys later. Will Johnson is a scheme and size fit in Miami.
29. Washington Commanders: Omarion Hampton (RB – North Carolina)
Here’s another pick that could easily be traded to a team that wants to come up, maybe for a quarterback, though I doubt they’d trade with the Giants. James Pearce Jr fits as a LEO, but I’m not sure he would meet Adam Peters’ character requirements.
***Trade Alert***
30. New York Giants (From Buffalo): Jaxson Dart (QB – Mississippi)
Reportedly, the Bills don’t have a lot of first-round grades this year, so they could trade back. Trey Amos and Carson Schwesinger are fits, but can be had a bit later. Giants ownership wants a long-term quarterback, and they may feel the need to jump Cleveland.
31. Kansas City Chiefs: Josh Simmons (OT – Ohio State)
Andy Reid loves building through the trenches, and also favors long-armed blockers. Josh Simmons’ arms measured over 34 inches at his Pro Day, which puts him back in consideration here. Given what happened in the Super Bowl, a blocker would be nice.
***Trade Alert***
32. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (From Philadelphia): Donovan Ezeiruaku (EDGE – Boston College)
Typically, I’ve had the Eagles scooping up a defensive lineman, but there isn’t a perfect fit available here. (I would have chosen Luther Burden.) Howie Roseman is known to trade down, so maybe the Bucs would come back up to solidify their pass rush.
