2025 NFL Mock Draft With Trades: First Round Picks & Predictions

2025 NFL Mock Draft With Trades: First Round Picks & Predictions

Below is my latest mock draft for Thursday’s 2025 NFL Draft, including some trade predictions.

2025 NFL Draft Guide: Mock Drafts, Scouting Reports & More

2025 NFL Mock Draft

1. Tennessee Titans: Cam Ward (QB -Miami)

Tennessee did very little during free agency and did not address the quarterback position, which makes me think they will take one here. It sounds like Cam Ward is the QB1 among most teams’ draft boards.

2. Cleveland Browns: Travis Hunter (WR/CB – Colorado)

As a Browns fan, I’d personally like to see Abdul Carter‘s name get called, but the latest rumblings I am hearing are that Travis Hunter will be the pick. Also, watch out for the browns to make a move at quarterback by trading back into the first round or selecting one with the 33rd pick.

3. New York Giants: Abdul Carter (EDGE – Penn State)

With the signings of Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston, it does look like the Giants aren’t forced to take Shedeur Sanders. Pairing Abdul Carter with Kayvon Thibodeaux will be a nice anchor for this defense.

4. New England Patriots: Will Campbell (OT – LSU)

New England made a lot of great moves to fill a lot of holes on this roster. Mike Vrabel makes it a point to build up the trenches.

5. Jacksonville Jaguars: Tetairoa McMillan (WR – Arizona)

Mason Graham makes the most sense here, and more than likely, he is the pick, but let’s have some fun. Liam Coen loves wide receivers. Outside of Brian Thomas Jr., they only have Dyami Brown and Parker Washington.

Coen had Mike Evans in Tampa, now he takes Tetairoa McMillian to fill the “Mike Evans role” in Jacksonville.

6. Las Vegas Raiders: Ashton Jeanty (RB – Boise State)

Taking Ashton Jeanty is a Pete Carroll move. Remember, he selected Kenneth Walker and Zach Charbonnet in back-to-back drafts.

7. New York Jets: Armand Membou (OT – Missouri)

Tyler Warren could be the pick here as well, but the Jets need to build up their offensive line if they want Justin Fields to be successful.

8. Carolina Panthers: Mason Graham (DT – Michigan)

The Mason Graham slide stops with Carolina. The Panthers really could use EDGE rushers, but having Graham fall into their lap can’t be passed up.

***Trade Alert***

9. Denver Broncos (From New Orleans): Omarion Hampton (RB – North Carolina)

Sean Payton calls in a favor with his former team and takes Omarion Hampton, stealing him before Ben Johnson and the Bears can call his name.

This may seem like a reach for the UNC running back, but I would have had the Bears selecting him with the next pick. If the Broncos have a high enough grade, trading up to nine overall would only cost them their 20th pick, along with a fifth- and sixth-round pick

10. Chicago Bears: Tyler Warren (TE – Penn State)

The Bears could go in a few directions here. If Omarion Hampton is on the board, he would be in play, but with the Broncos sniping him, we give Ben Johnson and Caleb Williams another offensive weapon.

11. San Francisco 49ers: Kelvin Banks Jr. (OT – Texas)

I wouldn’t be shocked if the 49ers locked in Will Johnson due to Charvarius Ward leaving for the Colts in free agency, but San Francisco ultimately goes with an offensive tackle to replace an aging Trent Williams

12. Dallas Cowboys: Matthew Golden (WR – Texas)

Dallas is desperate for receiver help. Running Jonathan Mingo and Jalen Tolbert on the field with CeeDee Lamb isn’t going to cut it. Matthew Golden is a great deep threat who will help free up Lamb. This combo could turn out to be what we have seen in Minnesota with Jordan Addison and Justin Jefferson.

13. Miami Dolphins: Will Johnson (CB – Michigan)

Will Johnson could be the perfect replacement if the Dolphins do indeed trade Jalen Ramsey.

14. Indianapolis Colts: Colston Loveland (TE – Michigan)

The Colts could go in several directions, but they ultimately need to build around Anthony Richardson and give him as many weapons as possible.

15. Atlanta Falcons: Jalon Walker (DE – Georgia)

Atlanta desperately needs a pass-rusher, and having Jalon Walker land in their laps may be the best thing to happen for them this offseason.

16. Arizona Cardinals: Jahdae Barron (CB – Texas)

The Cardinals add more playmakers to the defense after signing Josh Sweat.

17. Cincinnati Bengals: Mike Green (DE – Marshall)

We are not sure what is going to happen with Trey Hendrickson, but if the Bengals do decide to trade him, Mike Green is a solid replacement.

18. Seattle Seahawks: Tyler Booker (OT – Alabama)

Seattle can be so unpredictable in drafts, but they need to focus on the offensive line. Tyler Booker will help solidify that line immediately.

19. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Jihaad Campbell (LB – Alabama)

The Bucs have holes in nearly every position on defense. Jihaad Campbell is a hybrid linebacker who can play off the ball and is more than capable of coming off the edge as a blitzer.

***Trade Alert***

20. New Orleans (From Denver): Shedeur Sanders (QB – Colorado)

Taking Shedeur Sanders with the ninth pick was too high for the liking of the Saints brass. Trading back and still getting a quarterback they need works out in their favor.

21. Pittsburgh Steelers: Jaxson Dart (QB – Ole Miss)

I can’t imagine the Steelers going into the 2025 season with Mason Rudolph and Skylar Thompson as the only quarterbacks on their roster.

Rumor has it the Steelers have a first-round grade on Jaxson Dart. They don’t pass up the chance to call his name.

22. Los Angeles Chargers: Mykel Williams (DE – Georgia)

The Chargers land arguably the second-best pass-usher in the draft. Mykel Williams is a nice replacement for Joey Bosa

23. Green Bay Packers: Emeka Egbuka (WR – Ohio State)

The Packers finally take a wide receiver in the first round, landing arguably the best one in the draft.

***Trade Alert***

24. Buffalo Bills (From Minnesota): Nick Emmanwori (DB – South Carolina)

The Bills need help in the secondary, especially at the safety position. Right now, they have Damar Hamlin and Taylor Rapp first in line on their depth charts.

Nick Emmanwori is one of four players listed 6-foot-3 or taller who topped 40 inches in the vertical jump and ran a sub-4.4 time in the 40-yard dash since 2003. He is a freak athlete and will instantly give the Bills an upgrade on the defensive side of the ball.

25. Houston Texans: Josh Simmons (OL – Ohio State)

The primary goal of this team should be to protect C.J. Stroud.

26. Los Angeles Rams: Maxwell Hairston (CB – Kentucky)

The secondary of this team is a mess. Last year, Les Snead and Sean McVay beefed up the defensive line, and now it’s time to upgrade the back end.

Maxwell Hairston was the fastest man at the NFL combine, running a 4.28 40-yard dash. His burst and speed translate well to the field and he can jump routes. Hairston is a bit undersized but will have no problem keeping up with receivers.

27. Baltimore Ravens: Derrick Harmon (DT – Oregon)

The Ravens need someone to clog up the middle of that defensive line. The 6-foot-5 defensive tackle from Oregon can do just that.

Derrick Harmon led all FBS defensive tackles in pressures (34) during the 2024 season.

28. Detroit Lions: Shemar Stewart (DE – Texas A&M)

NFL fans were dreaming of the chance to pair Aidan Hutchinson with Myles Garrett. With Garrett returning to the Browns, the Lions turn their attention to the draft and take the best pass-rusher left on the board.

29. Washington Commanders: Malaki Starks (S – Georgia)

Led by Jayden Daniels, Terry McLaurin and Deebo Samuel, the Commanders may have one of the better offenses in the league, so now it’s time to focus on the defense.

Malaki Starks is a center-field-like ballhawk they need in the defensive secondary.

***Trade Alert***

30. Minnesota Vikings (From Buffalo): Trey Amos (CB – Ole Miss)

Trey Amos is a long, physical press cornerback the Vikings need to pair up with Byron Murphy Jr.

31. Kansas City Chiefs: James Pearce Jr. (DE – Tennessee)

The Chiefs’ run defense looked like a piece of Swiss cheese during the playoffs. James Pearce Jr. on the edge to attack opposing quarterbacks will only help the secondary.

32. Philadelphia Eagles: Walter Nolen (DT – Ole Miss)

Walter Nolen will fill the void left by Milton Williams and Brandon Graham. Nolan can create pressure from inside, disrupting the timing of opposing offenses. The rich get richer.
