Game Recaps

Bucky Irving ran for 85 yards on 26 carries in the Buccaneers 16-14 win over the Panthers. He also caught 1-of-2 targets for 13 yards receiving.

Fantasy Impact: Irving saw a season-high in carries in the regular season finale. He struggled to get much going as his longest run went for nine yards. He'll be a bounce back candidate for fantasy managers next season.

Baker Mayfield completed 16-of-22 passes for 203 yards with one touchdown and one interception in the Buccaneers 16-14 win over the Panthers.

Fantasy Impact: Mayfield added another 31 yards on the ground. He had one poor throw for an interception, but otherwise gave it his all in the win for Tampa Bay. Despite that performance, Carolina still won the division with the Falcons defeating the Saints on Sunday.

The Panthers D/ST allowed 16 points on 338 total yards with one interception and two sacks in Week 18 against the Buccaneers.

Fantasy Impact: Baker Mayfield drove the Bucs offense down the field for a touchdown on the opening drive of the game. Carolina made the necessary adjustments to keep the team in the game through the end. They will take on the Rams at home next weekend in the Wild Card round.

Ryan Fitzgerald made his two extra point attempts, but missed his lone field goal in Week 18 against the Buccaneers.

Fantasy Impact: Fitzgerald missed a 54-yard field goal on the opening drive of the second half. Carolina will need him to step up with the team heading into the postseason.

Tommy Tremble caught 3-of-4 targets for 38 yards and a touchdown in the Panthers 16-14 loss against the Buccaneers.

Fantasy Impact: Tremble continued to see the field more with Ja'Tavion Sanders (ankle) out for the season. His expanded role should continue into the postseason with the Panthers hosting the Rams in the Wild Card round.

Xavier Legette caught 3-of-4 targets for 22 yards in the Panthers 16-14 loss against the Buccaneers.

Fantasy Impact: Legette had another troublesome season following a disappointing rookie year. He'll be a big play threat in the postseason for Carolina.

Jalen Coker caught 6-of-7 targets for 47 yards and a touchdown in the Panthers 16-14 loss against the Buccaneers.

Fantasy Impact: Coker caught a late touchdown as Carolina attempted to make a comeback at the end of the game. He finished the year strong with all three of his touchdowns in the final five weeks. He'll look to carry that momentum into the postseason.

Tetairoa McMillan caught 4-of-6 targets for 85 yards in the Panthers 16-14 loss against the Buccaneers.

Fantasy Impact: McMillan had another big catch erased on a questionable offensive pass interference call. He finishes his rookie season with 1,000 yards and a potential Offensive Rookie of the Year award. He'll continue his rookie campaign into the postseason against the Rams next weekend.

Chuba Hubbard ran for 10 yards on five carries in the Panthers 16-14 loss against the Buccaneers. He also caught 2-of-2 targets for seven yards receiving.

Fantasy Impact: Hubbard and Rico Dowdle were both completely shut down on the ground. Despite the loss, the Panthers still clinched the NFC South with the Falcons win over the Saints on Sunday. Carolina will host a Rams team next weekend who Hubbard had some success against earlier this season.

Bryce Young completed 24-of-35 passes for 266 yards with two touchdowns and one interception in the Panthers 16-14 loss against the Buccaneers.

Fantasy Impact: Young was able to bounce back after throwing for just 54 yards in the week prior. He also had a pass downfield to Tetairoa McMillan that was called back for a questionable offensive pass interference call. With the Falcons win over the Saints on Sunday, Young and the Panthers will be hosting the Rams in the Wild Card round next weekend.

Jake Bates kicked a 42-yard field goal with no time left on the clock to lift the Lions to a 19-16 win over the Bears in their final game of the regular season. Bates booted four field goals on the day and added an extra point.

Fantasy Impact: Bates went 4-for-5 on field goal attempts, with his four field goals tying a career-high. Bates was successful from 34, 30, 25, and 42 yards, and his lone miss came from 53 yards out to close the first half. Bates finished his second season going 27-of-34 on field goal attempts and 54-of-56 on extra points.

The Detroit Lions D/ST recorded just one sack and had one interception during the team's 19-16 win over the Bears in the last game of the year.

Fantasy Impact: The Lions allowed only 270 yards of total offense to the Bears, marking the sixth-lowest total they have allowed in a game all season. However, they had trouble getting to Caleb Williams, sacking the quarterback just once. Avonte Maddox had the interception which led to a Lions' field goal late in the third quarter.

Kalif Raymond caught three passes for 52 yards and added three punt returns for 33 yards in the Lions' win over the Bears in the final game of the season.

Fantasy Impact: Raymond established himself as another target for Jared Goff over the last five weeks of the regular season. After catching just 13 passes over his first 10 games of the year, Raymond caught at least one pass in each of his last five games and totaled 11 receptions during the stretch.

David Montgomery carried the ball eight times for 42 yards and added one catch for 13 yards in Detroit's win over Chicago on Sunday.

Fantasy Impact: Montgomery has seen his production drop over the last couple of seasons as Jahmyr Gibbs has emerged as the lead back for the Lions. The seventh-year running back still had a solid campaign with 158 carries for 716 yards and eight scores. However, the carries and the rushing yards were new career-lows for Montgomery.

Jameson Williams hauled in six passes for 74 yards during Detroit's 19-16 win over Chicago in the final game of the year.

Fantasy Impact: It was the sixth time this season that Williams caught at least six balls in a game. The third-year wideout continues to improve production as he established career-highs in receptions (65) and receiving yards (1,117) while tying a career-best with seven receiving touchdowns.

Amon-Ra St. Brown caught 11-of-15 targets for a game-high 139 yards in Detroit's Week 18 victory over the Bears.

Fantasy Impact: St. Brown closed out the year on a high note by registering his fifth 100-yard receiving effort of the season. It was also the second time this year that he caught more than 10 passes in a game. Jahmyr Gibbs carried the ball 19 times for 80 yards and added three receptions for 33 yards and a touchdown in Detroit's 19-16 win over Chicago in the regular season finale.

Fantasy Impact: Gibbs came into the game with 124 yards rushing total over his last four games, but finished with a game-high 80 yards on Sunday - his most since his 219-yard outburst against the Giants on November 23. Gibbs finished his third season with 1,223 yards rushing, 616 yards receiving, and 18 total touchdowns.

Jared Goff completed 27-of-42 passes for 331 yards and one touchdown in the Lions' 19-16 victory over the Bears on Sunday. Goff was intercepted once.

Fantasy Impact: After a dismal Christmas Day performance, Goff rebounded with his sixth 300-yard passing effort of the season. Goff finished his 10th season in the NFL with 4,564 passing yards, 34 touchdowns, and only eight picks. It was his fifth consecutive 4,000-yard season.

Cairo Santos did not attempt a field goal or an extra point in Sunday's 19-16 loss to the Lions.

Fantasy Impact: It was the only time all season that Santos was kept scoreless as the Bears went for two on both of their touchdowns. Santos went 25-of-30 on field goal attempts and 39-of-39 on point after tries during the regular season.
