Winning the trade market is at least as important as nailing the draft. Aside from the waiver wire’s massive impact in the season’s first few weeks, trading is the best way to improve your squad quickly. Great buy-low moves can set you up for victory in the short term and down the stretch. Solid sell-high deals can get you big hauls for overachieving players who likely won’t sustain their production.
Let’s take a look at players to buy and sell this week. And be sure to check out our weekly trade value chart with updated values for all players.

Q: Who is your favorite buy-low trade candidate at this point in the season and why? Also, who are you willing to give up for him?
Stefon Diggs (WR – BUF)
“Stefon Diggs has had a very difficult run of games against some of the league’s best secondaries, but he’s primed to bounce back this week against the Eagles with the Chargers also in his playoffs schedule. I’d be willing to give any low-end WR1 like Brandon Aiyuk or a low-end RB1 like D’Andre Swift.”
– Ben Wasley (The Fantasy First Down)
“Buy low on Stefon Diggs right now. The Diggs owner could be starting to panic with two games under five fantasy points in the last two weeks. They may be looking to move him, especially with the playoffs and his bye week around the corner. Diggs will surely bounce back with fantastic matchups down the stretch that will require the Bills to throw a ton. I’d see if Tank Dell‘s recent success is enough to flip him for the All-Pro receiver. ”
– Steven Pintado (The Fantasy Coaches)
Nico Collins (WR – HOU)
“Nico Collins is no longer the No. 1 wide receiver in Houston. Yet, he is an appealing semi-buy-low candidate. Tank Dell has been outstanding lately and is C.J. Stroud‘s go-to wide receiver. However, Collins had more targets in Week 11 and has the same target share (20%) and target per route run rate (26%) as Dell for the year (per Fantasy Points Data). Yet, no one will trade away the rookie wide receiver. Meanwhile, the Texans will face the Tennessee Titans twice during the fantasy football playoffs. I would flip the touchdown or bust Courtland Sutton in a heartbeat for Collins.”
– Mike Fanelli (FantasyPros)
Chris Godwin (WR – TB)
“It wasn’t surprising to see the 6-foot-5 Mike Evans out-score the 6-foot-1 Chris Godwin in the first half of the season. But Evans’ 7 to 1 touchdown advantage dramatically overstated their 13 to 8 end zone target difference. Godwin has a 3.67 expected touchdown shortfall, the highest at his position. And I expect him to score at least three touchdowns in the second half of the season. Try to trade a luckier touchdown scorer to date like Jahan Dotson or Kareem Hunt for him.”
– Scott Spratt (FTN)
Odell Beckham Jr. (WR – BAL)
“With TE Mark Andrews going down, Lamar Jackson has to throw to someone. Odell Beckham Jr. suffered a shoulder injury last week, but it doesn’t sound like a major issue. As the season has progressed, the Ravens’ offense has started to come alive under Todd Monken’s direction, including Beckham Jr. As Thanksgiving approaches, I’m thankful for Fantasy Pros allowing me to contribute to their articles, Odell Beckham Jr.s. impressive talent and my incredibly funny jokes. Hmnn… well, two out of three isn’t bad for fantasy football’s biggest turkey, Mark Ringo, haha! Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!”
– Mark Ringo (Sleepers and Busts)
Brian Robinson Jr. (RB – WAS)
“Buy-low on Brian Robinson. He currently ranks as RB3 on the season, and it’s like no one even cares. His sneaky value is the result of playing on a bad Commanders team that doesn’t inspire confidence in their offensive weapons. Through 11 weeks, though, this offense has been solid, and Robinson has been one of the most consistent running backs in the league. He can easily be acquired straight up for running backs outside the top 10, and that’s mind-boggling.”
– Aaron St Denis (The League Winners)
Travis Etienne Jr. (RB – JAC)
“Travis Etienne is my favorite buy-low candidate at this point in the season. Etienne was the RB1 overall Weeks 5-9, averaging 27.1 points per game- a full 6.4 more than RB2 Alvin Kamara during that stretch. Etienne has seen 15+ opportunities in all but one game this year and plays Carolina, one of the league’s worst rush defenses, in the Week 17 fantasy finals. Etienne is a locked-in Top 5 RB down the stretch; there is only one man I’d rather have at the position, and his name is Christian McCaffrey.”
– Joe Orrico (No Expert Fantasy Football)
Jordan Battle (S – CIN)
“IDP: Jordan Battle, this four-star rookie just received 80% snap count and produced. Expect him to be paired up with Dax Hill, another first-rounder from the year before, and be a tandem for season to come. This is a Dynasty and redraft move.”
– Steve Hungarter (Fantasy Six Pack)
Q: Who is your favorite sell-high candidate at this point in the season and why? Also, who would you try to get in return?
James Cook (RB – BUF)
“James Cook has had some very fluky production of late, but the Bills clearly aren’t committed to him as the lead back. They tried to get Latavius Murray more involved, and when that didn’t work, Ty Johnson started getting some passing-down work in Week 11. There’s also Leonard Fournette waiting in the wings, plus Cook still has a Week 13 bye with an awkward playoff schedule. I’d sell Cook for any upside RB like Isiah Pacheco or a high-end WR2 like Puka Nacua or DK Metcalf.”
– Ben Wasley (The Fantasy First Down)
“James Cook is my favorite sell-high candidate at this point in the season. I’m not buying into a new offensive coordinator featuring James Cook in the Bills offense because it simply isn’t true. Cook saw just 46% of snaps in Week 11, tied for his lowest since Week 4. Latavius Murray and Ty Johnson combined for over 50% of snaps and 16 opportunities. Cook also has a terrible schedule for the next three weeks: at PHI, BYE, at KC- no thank you! Now is the time to cash in on Cook for a stud RB2 like Rachaad White or Javonte Williams.”
– Joe Orrico (No Expert Fantasy Football)
Saquon Barkley (RB – NYG)
“Last week, Saquon Barkley was the RB1, scoring 28 half-point PPR fantasy points against the Washington Commanders. However, now is the time to trade away the superstar running back. He had 57 receiving yards and two touchdowns against the division rivals after totaling 105 receiving yards and two touchdowns this year before the matchup. Meanwhile, Barkley faces the New Orleans Saints, Philadelphia Eagles, and Los Angeles Rams in the fantasy football playoffs. All three teams rank in the top eight in the fewest fantasy points per game surrendered to running backs. Plus, he still has his bye in Week 13. I would try to flip Barkley for Travis Etienne Jr. or Rachaad White.”
– Mike Fanelli (FantasyPros)
“If you still have Saquon Barkley, now is the time to trade him, imo. The Giants’ offense took out their frustrations on a depleted Washington defense, presenting a good sell-high opportunity. Prior to last week, they hadn’t scored more than 17 points since week 2! The schedule gets much tougher, as do the chances for Saquon to do well. Ringo would try and trade him for guys on more explosive offenses, with the thinking being, at least give your players a chance to score a bunch of TDs. WHO AM I WILLING TO GET IN RETURN FOR HIM? Saquon for Isiah Pacheco & Jaylen Waddle or Saquon for Isiah Pacheco and Nico Collins or Saquon for Devon Achane & Nico Collins or Saquon for Raheem Mostert & Nico Collins.”
– Mark Ringo (Sleepers and Busts)
Tank Dell (WR – HOU)
“Tank Dell has been the No. 3 fantasy receiver the last three weeks — and not just among rookies. But Dell has enjoyed that outburst with one of his receiver teammates Nico Collins, Noah Brown, or Robert Woods out injured. Dell is, at worst, the No. 2 Texans receiver. But with everyone healthy, Dell will likely suffer the rest of the season. I am projecting him for a 20.0% target share in Week 12, which ranks just 39th at the position. See if you can move him for Javonte Williams or Jaylen Warren, two backs on the upswing.”
– Scott Spratt (FTN)
Bijan Robinson (RB – ATL)
“Sell high on Bijan Robinson. This isn’t a case of hate for the player; it’s a case of hate for the coaching staff and offensive system. Robinson is currently valued as one of the elite running backs in fantasy despite producing at a level closer to an RB2. As long as Arthur Smith is calling plays for the Falcon’s offense, Robinson and the rest of these weapons are going to be unreliable and fail to hit their ceiling.”
– Aaron St Denis (The League Winners)
Josh Jacobs (RB – LV)
“I’d be looking to sell off Josh Jacobs on name value. We saw firsthand when the Raiders started to fall behind that the run game didn’t work. The Raiders still have matchups against KC twice, the Vikings, the Chargers, and the Colts. Most of the matchups will likely cause the Raiders to be in a losing game script. He has seen three targets in the last three weeks, which is a concern for his upside in this offense. I’d like to get Jerome Ford plus or Jonathan Taylor for the Raiders RB.”
– Steven Pintado (The Fantasy Coaches)
Alex Anzalone (LB – DET) | Kenneth Murray (LB – LAC)
“IDP: Alex Anzalone and Kenneth Murray are surprisingly good IDP options this year, but it won’t last long as talent waits below them on the depth charts. If you are not contending, it might be smart to move on soon.”
– Steve Hungarter (Fantasy Six Pack)
