In just a few short weeks, the 2026-2027 NFL season will be kicking off. With that in mind, I conducted a 10-team fantasy football mock draft with some twists: Superflex and PPR scoring.

Fantasy Football Mock Draft
Below are the results of the mock draft using FantasyPros’ Draft Wizard tool. The roster settings include: 1-QB, 2-WR, 2-RB, 1-TE, 1-FLEX, 1 Superflex, 1-D/ST and six bench slots. I randomized the draft order and ended up with the No. 4 overall pick. This team was graded 93/100 by the Draft Wizard.
Round 1: Joe Burrow (QB – CIN)
To kick things off at No. 4 overall, I went with Joe Burrow. The rushing upside of Jayden Daniels tempted me, but the Bengals’ schedule should be excellent for Burrow and the passing attack. From Weeks 13 to 17, Burrow was the QB3 in fantasy football.
Round 2: Jaxon Smith-Njigba (WR – SEA)
I do have a Superflex spot, so another quarterback will definitely be on the roster, but I preferred Jaxon Smith-Njigba over Trevor Lawrence, Jaxson Dart, Brock Purdy and the other available quarterbacks. Smith-Njigba has a chance to be a 2,000-yard receiver. This was a no-brainer pick.
Round 3: Justin Jefferson (WR – MIN)
Wow. Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Justin Jefferson? I still don’t have a running back, but a tandem of Jefferson and Smith-Njigba is fantastic, especially with improved quarterback play ahead for Jefferson.
Round 4: Brock Bowers (TE – LV)
Brock Bowers dealt with injuries last season, but assuming he stays healthy this season, he should be in for a TE1-caliber season. He’ll have better quarterback play with Kirk Cousins and/or Fernando Mendoza.
Round 5: DeVonta Smith (WR – PHI)
Dallas Cowboys running back Javonte Williams was staring me in the face, but with a FLEX spot still available in a PPR league, I couldn’t pass up DeVonta Smith. He’ll be the No. 1 option in the Eagles’ passing attack under new offensive coordinator Sean Mannion.
Round 6: Josh Jacobs (RB – GB)
I’m a bit skeptical of Josh Jacobs because of his off-the-field issues, but if he’s on the field, he’ll get plenty of carries and catch around 40 passes. He scored 14 times last season across 15 games.
Round 7: Kyler Murray (QB – MIN)
With Justin Jefferson in tow, Kyler Murray as my QB2/Superflex option is something I’m excited about. He can run, has shown some accuracy and has top-five quarterback upside in fantasy football under head coach Kevin O’Connell.
Round 8: Jaylen Warren (RB – PHI)
Bringing in Rico Dowdle makes me nervous, but with other loaded positions, I started to load up on running back talent that I think could get at least 50% of the carries on their team. Jaylen Warren averaged 4.5 yards per carry on 211 carries and also caught 40 passes.
Round 9: Jadarian Price (RB – SEA)
With Kenneth Walker III leaving for the Kansas City Chiefs, the Seahawks drafted Jadarian Price in the first round. Zach Charbonnet is on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list. Price has a chance to carve out a massive role. For my team, which needs running back talent, Price was the best option when compared to Kenneth Gainwell, Chuba Hubbard, Aaron Jones, etc.
Round 10: Marvin Harrison Jr. (WR – ARI)
I know Marvin Harrison Jr.‘s stock is low after last season and some viral videos of drops during training camp, but the value here couldn’t be passed up. Trey McBride is likely the No. 1 option in Arizona’s offense, but if he manages an 18-20% target share, the 10th round is a steal.
Round 11: C.J. Stroud (QB – HOU)
I wanted to get some quarterback depth, and C.J. Stroud was a safe option. I could’ve gone with Daniel Jones, Sam Darnold or Cam Ward, but Stroud has some great pass-catching options. Perhaps waiting to take Darnold for the stack with Jaxon Smith-Njigba in the final round may have been wiser.
Round 12: Chris Rodriguez (RB – JAX)
The Jaguars have Bhayshul Tuten as the primary ball-carrier, but Chris Rodriguez Jr. could definitely work his way in. Across 198 career carries, he’s averaging 4.6 yards per carry. He ran 112 times for 500 yards and six touchdowns last season.
Round 13: Houston Texans D/ST
I didn’t feel particularly great about the skill position players left on the board, so I figured I’d lock up perhaps the best defense in the league. This will be an incredibly valuable asset with how much pressure they can bring.
Round 14: Sean Tucker (RB – TB)
For the final two rounds, I threw some running back darts. Sean Tucker scored seven times last season. If he gets a chance to get on the field, he might be more touchdown-dependent, as he’s not the most efficient runner, but that could still provide valuable bye week fill-in help under the right circumstances.
Round 14: Kaytron Allen (RB – WSH)
Jacory Croskey-Merritt will head into the season as the No. 1 RB for the Commanders, but Kaytron Allen could eventually carve out a role. Again, another dart throw.
