Fantasy Impact:
Gelof exited in the third inning of Thursday's game against the Tigers after sustaining a deep laceration beneath his kneecap while chasing a foul ball. With Gelof out, Jeff McNeil is likely to see more opportunities in the infield. In a corresponding move, the Athletics recalled Joey Meneses from Triple-A Las Vegas.
