Fantasy Football Player Notes

Over the last two games, Doubs has been the WR23 and WR54 in weekly scoring with a 15.1% target share, 3.22 YPRR, one red zone target, one deep target, and a 14.7% first-read share. This hasn't been the usage anyone was hoping for with AJ Brown out of the lineup. We could see Doubs bounce back this week, though. It's possible that he sees shadow coverage from Christian Benford, but I doubt that Buffalo is concerned enough with Doubs to put Benford on him. Doubs could be the go-to for Drake Maye this week against Buffalo's two-high coverage. Buffalo has the tenth-highest two-high rate (58.1%). Since Week 2, against two-high, Doubs has been the leader in target-per-route run rate with 22% and 6.13 YPRR(!!). Since 2025, Doubs has seen a boost against two high with a 21% target-per-route run rate and 2.16 YPRR. If Benford doesn't follow Doubs, he should have a strong game this week. Buffalo is 15th in yards per target and fantasy points per opportunity allowed to perimeter wide receivers.

Over the last two games, Mack Hollins has led the Patriots with a 20.8% target share with 2.39 YPRR, three red zone targets, a deep target, and a 26.5% first-read share. These are strong usage and production metrics across the board. Hollins is a solid flex play this week, although I don't know if he'll retain his top spot in the passing attack in Week 4. Buffalo has the tenth-highest two-high rate (58.1%). Since Week 2, against two-high, Hollins has been second on the team with a 17% target-per-route run rate with a stellar 2.46 YPRR. Since 2025, against two-high, Hollins has had a 19% target-per-route run rate and 2.05 YPRR against two-high. Buffalo is 15th in yards per target and fantasy points per opportunity allowed to perimeter wide receivers.
