Fantasy Football Player Notes

Luther Burden is the WR24 in fantasy points per game and looks electric any time he touches the ball. Luther Burden's route share dipped to 41.5% in Week 6, but he was back up at 66.7% last week. Overall, Burden has a 19.5% target share, 2.70 YPRR, nine red zone targets, three deep targets, and a 25% first-read share. This week, he'll face a Seattle pass defense that has the seventh-highest two-high rate in the NFL (60.2%). Against two-high, Burden has a 25% TPRR and 3.07 YPRR. Those numbers are incredibly strong. Burden has a nasty matchup this week, but he also has the talent to walk away with a solid stat line this week despite it. Across their last five games, Seattle has allowed the fewest yards per target and the fewest fantasy points per opportunity to slot receivers.

While I think Luther Burden can overcome a horrible matchup, I don't share the same optimism for Rome Odunze this week. Odunze is the WR55 in fantasy points per game with a 15.4% target share with 1.70 YPRR, five red zone targets, eight deep targets, and a 17.6% first-read share. Across their last five games, Seattle has allowed the tenth-fewest receiving fantasy points per game and the 14th-fewest yards per target to perimeter wide receivers. Sit Odunze this week.
