Everyone is gearing up for their redraft leagues in August, but don’t worry, I didn’t forget you all in the dynasty world. After all, I’m one of you! If you are doing a startup dynasty draft, or even just trying to make some trades or prepping for your league’s version of annual free agency, I’ve got my dynasty positional rankings. These are for half-PPR one-QB leagues, but you can imagine how they might change depending on how your league settings differ. Before we get into the meat of the rankings, I’ll tell you about some of my favorite trade targets right now.

Mitch Trubisky (QB – CHI)
There are run-first quarterbacks like Lamar Jackson, Robert Griffin, Tyrod Taylor, Kyler Murray and Cam Newton, then there are run-happy QBs. The first group tends to be valued properly, but somehow the second group, which also features Alex Smith and Blake Bortles tends to be overlooked. You don’t have to be the best passer in the world to produce as a fantasy asset, as evidenced by Smith’s QB4 finish in 2017 or Bortles’ three straight top 13 seasons including QB4 finish in 2015. It may not be pretty but points are points. Trubisky fits that mold and has upside for much more, considering his passing numbers were better than all seasons in Cam Newton‘s career except his MVP season. With plenty of young weapons, a strong offensive-minded coach and still increasing pass attempts, Trubisky should be a top 10 fantasy QB for some time to come.

Leonard Fournette (RB – JAX)
Believe it or not, Fournette is the same age as Sony Michel, James Conner and Alvin Kamara. Heck, he’s younger than Phillip Lindsay and Aaron Jones! Still somehow, everyone seems to believe his best years are behind him. Fournette likely hasn’t gotten going yet! The Jags have a strong offensive line that just so happened to be crippled by injuries last year, and now they actually have a quarterback that will force defenses to stop stacking the box nearly every play. Let’s not forget that Fournette is one of the most dynamic athletes at the position and he can handle a true bell-cow workload. If he can stay on the field, Fournette is a lock to finish in the Top 10 and has upside for much more in 2019 and beyond.

Brian Hill (RB – ATL)
This is a much deeper name who may very well still be available in your league. Hill, and not Ito Smith, is the direct backup to Devonta Freeman in this dynamic Falcons’ offense. Freeman doesn’t appear to be going anywhere with $6 million in dead cap next year, but let’s also not look past the fact that he has nearly 1,000 touches to his name already and will be almost 29 years old next season. If he sustains another injury, Hill could take over and never look back. He is a freakish athlete with lightning-quick agility metrics, explosion and plenty of size. You can’t rely on him to produce now or ever, but at the end of your roster, it is all about upside and Hill offers plenty thanks to the offense he is in.

Corey Davis (WR – TEN)
Remember when third-year-receivers were considered a big deal? Nothing about that narrative has changed, but everyone just stopped talking about it. Well, here we have a former #5 overall pick in his third season and with no competition for targets. He has been inconsistent, but largely because his quarterback has been often injured. Meanwhile, Davis still possesses an elite athletic profile and is expected to again finish with a tremendous 25% or higher target share, only this time, Tennessee should throw the ball more than 437 times with Mariota now healthy. If that number jumps to the league-average, we are looking at 145 targets which could make Davis a 2019 WR1 as a 24-year-old.
