Fantasy Football Player Notes

2019 Rest of Season Rankings
Christian McCaffrey Note
Christian McCaffrey photo 1. Christian McCaffrey RB - (vs . NO)
McCaffrey bounced back from his poor performance in Week 2 to have a dominant game against the Cardinals in Week 3. Regardless of who is under center for the Panthers, McCaffrey should be considered a top-three running back in all formats. He's one of the few players with legitimately zero concerns from a fantasy standpoint.

D.J. Moore Note
D.J. Moore photo 21. D.J. Moore WR - (vs . NO)
Moore is the de facto number one receiver in Carolina and has upside to blossom into a high-end WR2 if everything goes right this year. Much of it will depend on whether or not Cam Newton's shoulder truly is healthy.

Curtis Samuel Note
Curtis Samuel photo 75. Curtis Samuel WR - (vs . NO)
Samuel has a ton of talent, but the Panthers with Kyle Allen have morphed into more of a game-managing type of offense. Rarely are there big shots, as Carolina looks to control the clock and win with their defense. Samuel has seen at least six targets in each game since Week 1, but for now, it's hard to trust him in a fantasy lineup.

Robby Anderson Note

Anderson has let fantasy owners down in several great matchups lately, but if you want to chase a home run, he's got three more great matchups in a row coming up including this week at home against Oakland.

Ian Thomas Note
Ian Thomas photo 218. Ian Thomas TE - (vs . NO)
Assuming Olsen is going to miss another game, Thomas will be a fringe TE1 this week because of a juicy matchup at home against Seattle, a plus game script and the fact that he had 10 targets last week.

Mike Davis Note

Until the Bears drafted David Montgomery, it looked like Davis would be the steal of the century in fantasy drafts. He has plenty of upside if Mongtomery were to go down with an injury and let's not discount the possibility that the Bears ease Montgomery in and let the veteran pass-catcher lead this Chicago backfield in touches for the first month or two.
