Fantasy Football Player Notes

2019 Rest of Season Rankings
Julian Edelman Note
Julian Edelman photo 20. Julian Edelman WR - (vs . MIA)
Those expecting Edelman to outperform his ADP might be in for a surprise as he has never finished higher than WR19 in fantasy. Part of this has to do with his inability to stay on the field and at 33 years old, reversing that tendency may prove a difficult task. He comes with reliability while healthy but perhaps with a price tag too steep.

Sony Michel Note
Sony Michel photo 47. Sony Michel RB - (vs . MIA)
Michel has looked better since the return of Isaiah Wynn to the offensive line and has two great matchups with the Bengals and Bills to close out the fantasy season. We also know the Patriots tend to ramp-up their run-game towards the end of the season in order to keep the pass-catchers healthy for the postseason.

James White Note
James White photo 66. James White RB - (vs . MIA)
White finished as an RB1 last season and now the offense has fewer weapons in the passing game and a banged up starting running back. It isn't crazy to think White could end up back in that territory in 2019 and if he doesn't, he is a safe bet to finish top 30 thanks to his receiving abilities.

Mohamed Sanu Note
Mohamed Sanu photo 117. Mohamed Sanu WR - (vs . MIA)
Sanu was having a decent, though inconsistent, season with the Falcons, but now moves to the Patriots, who reportedly have coveted him for some time. It should take him some time to get up to speed but with Josh Gordon moving to IR, there are plenty of targets available. Sanu may start slow, but he should offer WR3 value once he gets going.

New England Patriots Note

Rex Burkhead Note
Rex Burkhead photo 177. Rex Burkhead RB - (vs . MIA)
Burkhead was so useful last week because James White was out for personal reasons. Prior to that, the Patriots were up by four touchdowns so unless you are planning on either of those happening again, you can't plan on putting Rex into your lineup. He does have upside if Sony or White gets injured though.

N'Keal Harry Note
N'Keal Harry photo 199. N'Keal Harry WR - (vs . MIA)
The Patriots showed us in Week 11 that Harry has surpassed Jakobi Meyers as the #4 receiver but now Phillip Dorsett is banged up which means Harry should get his first start this week in Dallas. His potential makes him worth taking a flier on.

Jakobi Meyers Note
Jakobi Meyers photo 219. Jakobi Meyers WR - (vs . MIA)
Meyers appears to have passed up N'Keal Harry as the Patriots WR #3 but there is still some uncertainty moving forward and the next three matchups are all tough enough that I can't imagine Meyers being useful at any point for the rest of the season.

Brandon Bolden Note

Damien Harris Note
Damien Harris photo 249. Damien Harris RB - (vs . MIA)
It was odd that the Patriots drafted yet another running back, and because he is seemingly their number four on the depth chart, you may think he has no fantasy appeal, but rather, he is the direct replacement for Sony Michel. James White wouldn't move into that role nor would Rex Burkhead so instead, Harris is an injury away from top 20 RB value and perhaps much more.
