Fantasy Football Player Notes

2019 Rest of Season Rankings
Mark Ingram II Note
Mark Ingram II photo 17. Mark Ingram II RB - (vs . PIT)
Ingram has been great in the Saints offense over the last few seasons but that does not mean he will fit well in a different offense, especially as a 30-year-old. Sure, the Ravens brought in Ingram but let's not forget that Gus Edwards was terrific to close the season and the Ravens also drafted the electric Justice Hill. Ingram certainly has RB2 potential, but this is shaping up to be a three-headed monster splitting the workload.

Lamar Jackson Note
Lamar Jackson photo 28. Lamar Jackson QB - (vs . PIT)
Jackson has made Patrick Mahomes' 2018 season seem mediocre in comparison. His success in the Baltimore offense is unparalleled, and he's the top fantasy quarterback in the game by a large margin. With a revenge game on tap in Week 16 against the Browns, Jackson should finish off his fantasy season in style.

Mark Andrews Note
Mark Andrews photo 68. Mark Andrews TE - (vs . PIT)
After topping 100 yards receiving in each of his first two games, Andrews has come back down to earth a bit in his last three, totaling just 91 yards overall. But he's seen at least seven targets in each game and scored three touchdowns, and in the tight end landscape, that makes him a borderline superstar. Start him each and every week without hesitation.

Marquise Brown Note

Brown has missed several weeks with an ankle injury, but is hopeful to return against the Patriots. When he does, he should immediately return as a WR3 with upside, though he's likely to see plenty of boom or bust weeks with Lamar Jackson's inconsistent throwing.

Gus Edwards Note

Gus Edwards will go off from time to time thanks to the game scripts Baltimore has been in and will likely see again, but you can't trust him week to week. With that said, if Mark Ingram were to suffer an injury, Edwards would be a weekly RB2 so he may be worth stashing.

Justice Hill Note
Justice Hill photo 244. Justice Hill RB - (vs . PIT)
We know New Orleans multiplies a running back's value, so why wouldn't the reverse effect take place when a running back leaves? No one is arguing that Mark Ingram is awful, but I'll contend that he isn't good enough outside of that Saints' system to lock down the starting running back job in Baltimore. If anyone is going to sneak in and win the job, it would be Justice Hill. Mike Tagliere, likens Hill to Reggie Bush, but you could also call him a bigger and more athletic version of Phillip Lindsay with excellent instincts and top-level speed. Pair that with a run-heavy offense and we might just have this year's biggest surprise breakout running back.

Willie Snead Note

Snead has been consistently mediocre this season and while that may not sound too encouraging, it should mean we can rely on him as a WR4 or better this week in a perfect matchup versus the Bengals.
