Fantasy Football Player Notes

Jaxon Smith-Njigba has stolen the show for fantasy this season, leaving ARSB once again disrespected. With only 5.8 fewer Half PPR fantasy points than JSN, it has been an incredible start to the season. Catching two touchdowns in each game and averaging over 100 yards, ARSB is unstoppable. Unfortunately, the Lions defense is also unstoppable, as they can't stop anyone. This should guarantee plenty of opportunities for ARSB even against a revitalized Jets offense this week. The Jets defense has played well over its first two games. However, the Titans and Packers are not nearly as potent offense the Lions have. Keep riding the under-the-radar fantasy superstar.

Through two games, Jameson Williams has been a fantasy black hole as the WR59 in fantasy points per game. Williams has had a 15.6% target share, 1.00 YPRR, one red zone target, two deep targets, and a 22.9% first-read share. Not great, Bob. Not great at all. I don't foresee better production for Williams in Week 3. The Jets have had the fifth-highest two-high rate this season (66.2%). Against two-high, Williams has had only a 19% target-per-route run rate and 1.24 YPRR. The Jets' secondary has also surprised me so far, giving up the 14th-fewest fantasy points per target and the sixth-fewest yards per target to perimeter wide receivers. Williams isn't set up for a strong game in Week 3.
