Marshawn Lynch played one series in Saturday's 24-21 loss to the Rams, having two carries for ten yards.

Fantasy Impact: Lynch had a terrific camp and appears ready for the upcoming season. The big question revolves around his usage or the anticipated number of carries he will have. Eyes should be on whoever will be his backup, currently DeAndre Washington with Jalen Richard in the mix as well. Lynch's current ADP sits at 25.

Oakland Raiders beat writer Vic Tafur is reporting wide receiver Amari Cooper (leg) returned to practice Tuesday. (Source: Vic Tafur on Tweitter)

Fantasy Impact: Cooper, who has missed seven of the past eight practices with a leg injury, returned Tuesday. Although the injury didn't appear too serious, I would expect the Raiders to take the cautious approach with their top wideout moving forward. He should be a full-go for Week 1, barring a setback.

Oakland Raiders beat writer Vic Tafur is reporting DeAndre Washington "is getting all of the second team running back reps over Jalen Richard" at training camp. (Source: Vic Tafur on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Perhaps one of the most under-rated training camp position battles for 2017 lies in Oakland. Behind Marshawn Lynch, Washington and Richard will compete to see who will emerge as the Raiders' RB2. However, at the early stages of camp, Washington is getting "all the reps" with the twos, per Tafur. If this continues, expect Washington to win the job while Richard will likely carve out a role as Oakland's primary receiver out of the backfield/ third down back.

ESPN's Adam Schefter is reporting the Oakland Raiders and quarterback Derek Carr have agreed to a five-year deal worth $125 million on Thursday. (Source: Adam Schefter on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: The Raiders made Carr the highest-paid player in NFL history Thursday with his five-year, $125 million extension. The 26-year-old signal caller, who is entering his fourth year in the NFL, appears primed for his breakout season in 2017 and could be one of fantasy football's studs at his position. Carr should be viewed a mid-range QB1 with top five upside amongst quarterbacks.

Seth Roberts signs tender

OAK

Oakland Raiders wide receiver Seth Roberts signed his exclusive-rights tender on Monday. (Source: Michael Gehlken on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Roberts is coming off back to back seasons of producing at least 32 receptions, 397 yards and five touchdowns to begin his career -- he scored five touchdowns in each season. The impending third-year wideout has shown promise as a deep, touchdown threat in Oakland but is stuck behind Amari Cooper and Michael Crabtree, one of the league's best receiving duos, on the Raiders' depth chart. Roberts is worth a late-round flier and a stash on the fantasy bench in case he breaks out or if an injury occurs to one of the players slated ahead of him on the depth chart.

The Philadelphia Eagles have signed free agent quarterback Matt McGloin on Monday. (Source: Adam Caplan on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: McGloin, who spent the previous four seasons in Oakland, signed with the Eagles Monday. He'll likely enter the 2017 season third on Philadelphia's quarterback depth chart behind starter Carson Wentz and presumed primary backup Nick Foles.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport is reporting the Oakland Raiders are officially relocating to Las Vegas. (Source: Ian Rapoport on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: NFL owners approved the Raiders' move to Las Vegas Monday with a 31-1 vote with the Miami Dolphins the only team to oppose the relocation. The Raiders will play in a new state of the art stadium in Vegas that is expected to finished by the 2020 season. Although the Raiders' lease in Oakland runs through the 2018 season, 2017 could be the team's final year in the city.

The Buffalo Bills and free agent wide receiver Andre Holmes agreed to terms on a three-year deal worth $6.5 million. (Source: Ian Rapoport on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Holmes, who spent the last four years in Oakland, signed with the Bills Saturday. Buried on the Raiders' wide receiver depth chart, Holmes caught 14 passes for 126 yards and three touchdowns last season while appearing in all 16 games. Since Buffalo's wideouts are all career role players outside of Sammy Watkins, Holmes has an outstanding chance to enter 2017 as one of the Bills' top three receivers.

The Minnesota Vikings and former Oakland Raiders RB Latavius Murray have agreed to a deal. (Source: Ian Rapoport on Twitter )

Fantasy Impact: The workhorse finished last season with 768 yards and 12 touchdowns on 195 attempts while catching 38 balls for 264 yards. Murray signing with the Vikings likely means that Adrian Petersons days in Minnesota are over. In regards to fantasy Murray should have similar value considering he should be more of a focal point in the offense rather than participating in a RBBC approach. Do not expect another 12 TD season but overall Murray can be considered a solid RB2 to begin the season.

Super Bowl MVP Malcolm Smith is expected to sign with the San Francisco 49ers when free agency begins. (Source: Mike Garagolo on Twitter )

Fantasy Impact: Malcolm Smith had a nice season in Oakland last year recording 103 tackles, one interception, and two forced fumbles. Smith should earn a starting nod in what seems to be a pretty decent 49ers team being put together. Smith would be a nice value add in any late IDP draft.

ESPN's Paul Gutierrez reports Oakland Raiders pass rusher Aldon Smith was allegedly involved in an incident over this past weekend in San Francisco. Gutierrez states that Smith was "mentioned" in a police report taken by the SFPD. However, the "exact details of the report were not made public" as of yet. "He is cooperating with SFPD and the reporting party," Officer Grace Gatpandan said via ESPN. "The report was taken over the weekend, and he was mentioned in the report." (Source: ESPN)

Fantasy Impact: Smith is serving a one-year suspension for violating the NFL's substance-abuse policy. After filing for his reinstatement in the fall, Smith will be eligible to be reinstated in March as long as he remains out of trouble. However, this past weekend's incident could deter his reinstatement if he was involved in any wrongdoing. If the league grants him his reinstatement, Smith will join a Raiders defense that already employs a pair of prominent pass rushers that include the 2016-2017 Defensive Player of the Year, Khalil Mack, and Bruce Irvin.

Sebastian Janikowski was perfect on both his extra point attempts Saturday against the Texans. He did not attempt a field goal.

Fantasy Impact: For the season, Janikowski converted 29-of-35 field goals (82.9 percent) and 37-of-39 extra point attempts. He's not the most accurate kicker in the league, but he still possesses a strong leg and he should be afforded plenty of opportunities in an up-and-coming Raiders offense next season.

Jalen Richard rushed three times for three yards and caught both his targets in the passing game for eight yards Saturday against the Texans. He made his biggest contribution on special teams, returning five punts for 68 yards and two kick returns for 38 yards.

Fantasy Impact: Richard was instrumental in the Raiders' first touchdown on Saturday, as he returned a punt 37 yards to give his team great field position. On the return, he displayed power by breaking a tackle after getting stone walled, agility to reverse field, and explosiveness to scamper down the sideline. With Latavius Murray unlikely to return for the Raiders next season, Richard could garner a significant share of the backfield with fellow rookie DeAndre Washington.

Michael Crabtree was limited to two catches and 33 yards receiving on seven targets in Saturday's playoff loss to the Texans.

Fantasy Impact: Crabtree was hampered by the play of QB Connor Cook and the conservative play calling that resulted from his start. He was likely avoided for DFS purposes, and his performance was essentially what was expected given the circumstance.

Category: Game Recaps

Connor Cook completed 18 of his 45 pass attempts with one touchdown and three interceptions in Saturday's playoff loss to the Texans. He finished with a QB rating of 30.

Fantasy Impact: This was about what could be expected from a rookie, third-string QB making his first start against one of the best defenses in the league. Cook hamstrung the team's two top WRs, Michael Crabtree and Amari Cooper, who combined for only four catches and less than 50 yards receiving.

Clive Walford caught 1-of-3 targets for 17 yards Sunday against the Broncos.

Fantasy Impact: Walford only caught 33 passes on 52 targets for 359 yards this season with three touchdowns. We saw glimpses of his athleticism, but he just did not receive consistent targets to be fantasy relevant. It usually takes time for young tight ends to develop, so there's hope for Walford, as he just concluded his second year in the league. With Amari Cooper and Michael Crabtree on the outside, Walford could be a potent weapon attacking the middle of the field. If he can develop and start gaining the trust of Derek Carr, Walford could be a sneaky fantasy option next season.

Khalil Mack recorded an interception, a sack, a fumble forced, a fumble recovered and a touchdown. The touchdown came on an interception return from six yards out from Cam Newton. Mack becomes the first player since Charles Woodson in 2009 to record one of each in a single game.

Fantasy Impact: Mack is arguably the best IDP player in the NFL this season and is in the top-10 in sacks through 12 weeks. Mack will look to improve on his 9.0 sacks on the season vs. the Bills in Week 13.

Jamize Olawale records one reception for eight yards against the Carolina Panthers.

Fantasy Impact: Olawale has not been given many opportunities this season, but he has still managed to total 17 carries for 47 yards and two touchdowns to go along with nine receptions for 197 yards and one touchdown.

Bruce Irvin was only able to tally one solo tackle against the Denver Broncos.

Fantasy Impact: This is Bruce Irvin's first year for the Oakland Raiders. He was highly touted, coming from the stout Seattle defense, and was paid handsomely for it - signing a four year, $37,000,000 contract. However, those dollar signs are not transferring into statistics so far this year, as he only has 19 solo tackles, two sacks, and four forced fumbles. Irvin will be a player to watch for the second half of this season.

Perry Riley amounted three solo tackles in the Oakland Raiders Week 9 victory.

Fantasy Impact: Perry Riley, having only played in five games for the Raiders this season, has now amassed 15 solo tackles to go along with one forced fumble. Oakland has to be thrilled with this production, considering Riley was brought in when LB Ben Heeney was placed on the IR and LB Malcolm Smith was dealing with a groin injury. Smith is now back and Riley looks to be a solid addition to an ever-improving Oakland defense.
