NFL Network's Ian Rapoport is reporting Raiders LT Trent Brown (knee) is expected to play Week 3. (Source: Ian Rapoport on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Brown is expected to be on the field in a tough matchup with the Vikings on Sunday. He will try to fend off a Minnesota pass rush that could change the momentum of a game in an instant.

Tyrell Williams (hip) doesn't have a designation for Sunday's contest at Minnesota. (Source: Raiders.com)

Fantasy Impact: Williams emerged from Week 2 with a hip pointer, resulting in limited designations on the Raiders' first two injury reports of this week. Through two games with his new team, Williams has received exactly seven targets and scored one TD in both while handling a 94.3 percent share of the offensive snaps.

Josh Jacobs (groin/hip) does not carry an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Vikings after practicing fully Friday. (Source: Oakland Raiders on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Jacobs returned to a full practice Friday and is expected to play Sunday against the Vikings. He will handle all the early-down work while Jalen Richard and DeAndre Washington remain on hand to serve as backup/change-of-pace options.

The Oakland Raiders D/ST allowed 464 yards and had two sacks and one fumble recovery in a 28-10 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs Sunday.

Fantasy Impact: Oakland held down Patrick Mahomes for one quarter, but allowed four touchdown-passes in the second quarter Sunday. This unit is best avoided for fantasy going forward.

DeAndre Washington rushed three times for nine yards and had two receptions for 26 yards in the Raiders' 28-10 loss to the Chiefs Sunday. He was targeted twice.

Fantasy Impact: Washington will not see the volume to be a fantasy option behind Josh Jacobs outside of injury this season.

Daniel Carlson was 1-for-1 on field goal and 1-for-1 on extra point attempts in the Raiders' 28-10 loss to the Chiefs Sunday.

Fantasy Impact: Carlson hit both of his kicks Sunday but remains a sub-par fantasy option on a struggling offense.

Hunter Renfrow had four receptions for 30 yards on eight targets in the Raiders' 28-10 loss to the Chiefs Sunday.

Fantasy Impact: Renfrow didn't manage much production on his eight looks. He does have some value as a WR4/5 in deeper PPR formats as the slot option in Oakland.

Category: Game Recaps

Jalen Richard rushed twice for three yards and had two receptions for two yards in the Raiders' 28-10 loss to the Chiefs Sunday. He was targeted three times.

Fantasy Impact: Richard sees limited work behind Josh Jacobs and has little fantasy value this season.

Darren Waller had six receptions for 63 yards on seven targets in the Raiders' 28-10 loss to the Chiefs Sunday.

Fantasy Impact: Waller is looking like a strong TE1 going forward. He is seeing consistent volume as the second option behind Tyrell Williams in Oakland.

Derek Carr completed 23-of-38 passes for 198 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions in the Raiders' 28-10 loss to the Chiefs Sunday. He added two carries for 18 yards.

Fantasy Impact: Carr continues to fail to produce for fantasy even in great matchups. He remains nothing more than a reserve in 2QB formats.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport is reporting Raiders CB Gareon Conley (neck) is slated to play in Week 2. (Source: Ian Rapoport on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Conley was carted off the field last week after suffering a neck injury but appears to have averted disaster. While he could be on a snap count against the Chiefs, his presence will bolster a suspect Raiders secondary who will be sans rookie standout Jonathan Abrams, who landed on IR with a shoulder injury.

Category: Injury Updates

Jonathan Abram (shoulder, IR) is expected to be sidelined for 5-6 months. (Source: Tom Pelissero on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: The good news for the first-round rookie is that Abram's labrum wasn't torn, so he will only be rehabbing his rotator cuff. He is out for the year but should at least be able to have a normal off-season.

Category: Injury Updates

J.J. Nelson (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Chiefs. (Source: Raiders.com)

Fantasy Impact: Nelson was active for Week 1, but the ankle injury was serious enough to keep him sidelined for Sunday's Week 2 matchup against the Chiefs. With Nelson out, Ryan Grant and Hunter Renfrow will continue to see their share of work behind top wideout Tyrell Williams.

Category: Injury Updates

Ryan Grant had three receptions fro 16 yards on four targets in the Raiders' 24-16 win over the Broncos Monday.

Fantasy Impact: Grant did not produce as the third option in the passing game for Oakland Monday. He is not worth fantasy consideration this season.

By Mike Maher

Oakland quarterback DeShone Kizer is inactive for the team's matchup against the Denver Broncos on Monday Night Football. (Source: NFL.com)

The Raiders released Antonio Brown on Saturday. (Source: Ian Rapoport on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: The saga finally ends. Brown requested his release from the Raiders this morning after the team took away his guaranteed money. After a heated exchange with GM Mike Maycock and Brown's 'bizarre' video on YouTube, the Raiders have seen enough and granted his wish to be released. It is unclear what market will be interested in Antonio Brown after back-to-back meltdowns with the Steelers and Raiders. His tenure with the Raiders might be over, but most likely we haven't heard the last of this story.

Former Raiders running back Doug Martin received his injury settlement and will now test the waters as a free agent. (Source: Ian Rapoport on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: The Oakland backfield has a lot of young talent with Martin no longer in the fold. Josh Jacobs will receive the majority of work, as DeAndre Washington and Jalen Richard will only siphon a small amount of work away.

Nathan Peterman has been placed on IR by the Raiders. Seeing the extent of his injury may have played a role in the signing of former free agent DeShone Kizer. (Source: Mercury News on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Peterman had no fantasy value going into the season. If he returns, the backup job will likely be secured by Mike Glennon or Kizer.

The Raiders have released veteran linebacker Brandon Marshall as part of their initial wave of cuts to get down to the 53-man roster. (Source: Adam Schefter on Twitter )

Fantasy Impact: The move came as a bit of a surprise after Marshall signed a one-year deal via free agency to join the Raiders this offseason. Marshall had spent the previous six seasons in Denver, starting 63 games.

Marvell Ateman had five receptions for 49 yards on seven targets in the Raiders’ 17-15 preseason loss to the Seahawks Thursday.

Fantasy Impact: Ateman put up a decent line in pursuit of making the final roster for the Raiders. He is not a fantasy factor this season.
