Today’s FanDuel Lineup Advice column will focus on an ugly looking five-game night slate on Thursday. The night slate is void of any ace pitchers, has a team (Orioles) that hasn’t announced their starting pitcher as of this writing, and has potential rain impact in both the Brewers/Cardinals and Mets/Braves games. As I said, “U-G-L-Y”.
As always, be sure to pay close attention to the lineups when they are released and monitor the weather leading up to game time. Pitcher
Dan Straily (MIA): $8,300 @ TB
The last time Straily pitched against a team with a very high strikeout rate versus righties he rang up the Padres for 14 strikeouts. Thursday he gets a Rays’ team who matches the Padres in strikeout rate this season at 25.7% tied for the highest in the majors. Unlike the Padres, however, the Rays can hit a little bit against righties so temper your expectations some. That said, Straily is the top dog on Thursday night slate that is full of dogs.
