We get a dozen games for the picking in tonight’s featured slate on DraftKings. There is a trio of massive favorites leading the way on the pitching side of things but I also like a guy on the cheaper side. There’s a sneaky stack I like to support said cheap pitcher. I’ll reveal that stack and the top plays of the day at each position, so we’ll look at a couple studs bordering on must-play status in cash games or as one-off tournament plays.

Pitcher
Jose Berrios (MIN): $11,000 vs. KC
The big three of Berrios, James Paxton $12,900 and Corey Kluber $10,100 should all carry some fairly high ownership today as each pitcher is at least a -230 favorite as of this writing. The sweet spot of this group is right in the middle in Minnesota where the hapless Royals come to town. The young All-Star will get the pleasure of facing Kansas City’s lineup, looking worse than ever now sans Mike Moustakas and implied to score shy of 3.5 runs. How bad are the Royals? Since June, they rank 28th in MLB in team wOBA and wRC+ while only mustering a .145 team ISO versus RHP. I’m a Tigers fan, so I’ve seen Kansas City a few times this season, and trust me, they’re terrible. But again, as a Tigers fan, I should be quiet.
