Robbie Ray (ARI) $10,600 vs. SD
This is all about strikeout upside. We’re talking about one of the best swing-and-miss pitchers facing one of the most swing-happy lineups in baseball. In fact, the Padres currently sit 27th in K rate while Ray is posting a 31.3 percent K rate on his side of the rubber. That’s one of the best marks in baseball and he happens to face a Padres lineup that’s a shell of itself right now. That’s evident when you see that this club ranks 26th in OBP, 28th in runs scored and 29th in xwOBA. He actually struck out 10 batters in his most recent start against this Padres club and enters this matchup as a -180 favorite.
