Q3. What is your general strategy tip for Round 11?

The 11th round rocks. You’ve got your boring yet productive veterans in Andrus, Turner, Gurriel, and Grandal. A few former fantasy stars hoping to recapture their form are available for cheap in Seager, Carrasco, Schwarber, and Price. And then the young breakout potential of Luzardo, Rosario, Gallen, and Montas. Depending on your preferences, there is plenty to like.
– Jarad Evans (@Jarad_Evans)

If there’s actually a season, it’s going to be shorter. That would help the value of every pitcher listed in this round, particularly Luzardo. Expect his price to jump accordingly. It’s an intriguing batch of pitchers planked by upside (Rosario, Schwarber) and floor (Turner, Andrus) hitters.
– Andrew Gould (@AndrewGould4)

This is where I love to load up on pitching. Gallen, Luzardo, Price, and Carrasco are four of my favorite pitchers to grab for the middle part of my pitching staff. All four of those guys have ace upside and could really be a huge boon to your season. Grab one of these guys as quickly as you can.
– Jon Anderson (@JonPGH)

No matter how I’ve constructed my team prior to Round 11, this is almost always where I’m taking a risk with a high-upside pitcher. And there are plenty. Granted, it’s rare that Montas, Luzardo, or Gallen make it this far — partly because I’ve already drafted at least one of them — but if they’re gone, then I’m looking ahead to Round 12’s group for an intentional reach. At this point, risk is low.
– Mario Mergola (@MarioMergola)

A lot of boring veteran value lies in this round – just look at the first three picks. Otherwise, this round is marked by high-upside pitching. In the unlikely event that I haven’t taken an SP3, I’ll snatch Carrasco up here. There is likely somebody in this fictional draft room that like Luzardo, Montas, and Gallen more than I do. With that said, I’m focused on hitter value, whether that be at a corner infield spot or in the outfield. Catchers are pushed up in most leagues, but if I’m satisfied with my pitching and outfield, I’ll take Grandal.
– Carmen Maiorano (@carmsclubhouse)

The value in this round is outrageous. In fact, in my drafts, several of these players won’t last into the 11th because I’ll be reaching for them in the two rounds prior, starting with Jesus Luzardo and going on to Justin Turner, David Price, Zac Gallen, and Frankie Montas. Get as many of those five as you can.
– Bobby Sylvester (@bobbyfantasypro)

The pitchers in this round are fantastic values, as each of Jesus Luzardo, David Price, Frankie Montas, Zac Gallen, and Carlos Carrasco could be an SP2 or better if things break right. I also love nabbing Corey Seager if I can’t get one of the pitchers and waited on shortstop. In fact, the only player I really don’t like in this range is Yuli Gurriel, whose random outlier power season doesn’t entice me as he enters his age-36 season. Other than that, no qualms about any pick here.
