The players below are the ones I’m looking at for NFL DFS GPP considerations this week. Salaries marked with an * indicate a strong value in pricing difference on FanDuel.
Week 6 NFL DFS GPP Advice & Picks
Quarterbacks
Sam Darnold (QB – SEA) @ JAC | DraftKings: $5,400/FanDuel: $7,400
Trevor Lawrence should be a popular play this week due to pricing, value and the Seattle defense being destroyed by Baker Mayfield. Sam Darnold is an excellent contrarian play off that chalk. Jacksonville’s defense has been adequate but is vulnerable to volume.
The Jaguars have thrived on generating turnovers, but they’ve faced rather turnover-friendly quarterbacks outside of Patrick Mahomes. Darnold has just three interceptions on the year and should push volume in this matchup.
Bryce Young (QB – CAR) vs. DAL | DraftKings: $4,800/FanDuel: $7,000
Playing Bryce Young is typically a boom or bust scenario, and this week’s matchup leans towards the boom side. Dallas is giving up over 300 passing yards per game, and the quarterbacks they’ve faced haven’t exactly been prolific passers.
It’s a bad sign when you allow 450 yards to a quarterback who subsequently gets benched the following game. Young is having a rough 2025, so he should have a very reasonable rostership despite the excellent matchup. He’s also got a clear stack with Tetairoa McMillan.
Jordan Love (QB – GB) vs. CIN | DraftKings: $6,200/FanDuel: $8,300
Consistent volume has been difficult for Jordan Love. However, despite the inconsistency, when the matchup is excellent, Love has produced at his ceiling. The Bengals allow the ninth-most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks.
Romeo Doubs stepped up in the Week 4 matchup with Dallas, and Matthew Golden is improving by the week. Love will have decent rostership, but shouldn’t be the most popular play.
Additional Considerations
- Daniel Jones (QB – IND) vs. ARI | DraftKings: $6,000/FanDuel: $7,600*
- Drake Maye (QB – NO) @ NO | DraftKings: $5,900/FanDuel: $7,800
Running Backs
Rico Dowdle (RB – CAR) vs. DAL | DraftKings: $5,800/FanDuel: $6,600*
Rico Dowdle will be extremely chalky, but it’s tough to get around this chalk. Chuba Hubbard is unlikely to play, and Dowdle dominated the backfield in Week 5 with 23 carries for over 200 yards and a touchdown.
Dowdle has another layup matchup this week in a revenge game. Dallas allows the sixth-most fantasy points to opposing running backs, just one spot below the Miami defense that Dowdle shredded last week.
Quinshon Judkins (RB – CLE) @ PIT | DraftKings: $5,900/FanDuel: $7,100
Pittsburgh’s run defense had a rough start to the season, but has pulled itself together over the past two matchups. However, they’re still allowing significant production to running backs overall, and the Browns will likely lean heavily on the ground game with Judkins.
Quinshon Judkins has been spectacular this season, averaging 4.82 yards per carry, and has had over 80 yards since becoming the full-time starter. His sub-$6,000 pricing makes him a strong value play this week.
Rachaad White (RB – TB) vs. SF | DraftKings: $6,000/FanDuel: $6,800*
Rachaad White is priced up significantly this week because he’s the clear No. 1 RB with Bucky Irving likely out. Despite the difficult matchup in Week 5, White had a fantastic day with over 20 fantasy points, primarily boosted by two touchdowns.
White has a deceptively excellent matchup this week against a 49ers’ defense struggling after the loss of Nick Bosa. White’s rostership should be moderate due to pricing, and he offers strong upside.
Additional Considerations
- Christian McCaffrey (RB – SF) @ TB | DraftKings: $8,400/FanDuel: $9,500
- Josh Jacobs (RB – GB) vs. CIN | DraftKings: $7,300/FanDuel: $8,700
- Ashton Jeanty (RB – LV) vs. TEN | DraftKings: $6,900/FanDuel: $8,000
Wide Receivers
Jaxon Smith-Njigba (WR – SEA) @ JAC | DraftKings: $7,600/FanDuel: $9,000
Jaxon Smith-Njigba is the third-highest priced player on the DraftKings main slate and is second on FanDuel. In lineups where you’re trying to pivot off the Puka Nacua chalk, Smith-Njigba offers good value for his projections and is as close to Nacua’s ceiling as you can get.
Again, the Jags’ defense has been stout over recent weeks, but they’ve faced second-tier receiving corps. Smith-Njigba is capable of producing the same output we saw from Nico Collins and Ja’Marr Chase against Jacksonville earlier this season.
Michael Pittman Jr. (WR – IND) vs. ARI | DraftKings: $5,400/FanDuel: $6,200*
Michael Pittman is one of the few receivers in the $5,000 range that offers a stable floor, solid ceiling, consistent touchdown equity and has a matchup with a defense that is extremely vulnerable through the air.
The overall numbers don’t show it because they’ve played questionable offenses, but the Cardinals have allowed 100+ yard games to players who don’t typically have that level of production — Calvin Ridley, Ricky Pearsall and Tetairoa McMillan. Pittman hasn’t had a true ceiling game yet this season, and this is the perfect matchup. He’ll also have extremely low rostership with Tyler Warren being the more popular play.
Kendrick Bourne (WR – SF) @ TB | DraftKings: $5,000/FanDuel: $5,700*
Ricky Pearsall is doubtful. Jauan Jennings is questionable. Mac Jones is the likely starter. That’s the perfect combination for another Kendrick Bourne boom game against a Tampa Bay defense that is vulnerable, particularly to volume through the air. Bourne saw a salary boost this week, but remains a strong value play.
Romeo Doubs (WR – GB) vs. CIN | DraftKings: $5,200/FanDuel: $6,200
There’s clear skepticism around Romeo Doubs’ three-touchdown performance because, despite having one of the best matchups of the week, Doubs could be widely overlooked as a play this week. While Doubs is unlikely to score another three touchdowns, he is the Packers’ No. 1 WR. Most rostership in this game should lean towards Josh Jacobs and Tucker Kraft. Doubs is a true contrarian play here.
Additional Considerations
- Puka Nacua (WR – LAR) @ BAL | DraftKings: $8,700/FanDuel: $9,800
- Tetairoa McMillan (WR – CAR) vs. DAL | DraftKings: $6,000/FanDuel: $6,600*
- Keenan Allen (WR – LAC) @ MIA | DraftKings: $5,600/FanDuel: $6,300*
- Tre Tucker (WR – LV) vs. TEN | DraftKings: $4,800/FanDuel: $6,100
- Isaiah Bond (WR – CLE) @ PIT | DraftKings: $3,700/FanDuel: $4,700
Tight Ends
Darren Waller (TE – MIA) vs. LAC | DraftKings: $4,000/FanDuel: $6,000
His boost in salary was modest enough that Darren Waller still offers one of the best values at tight end this week, particularly on DraftKings.
With several other plays — Tyler Warren and Tucker Kraft — being chalky in excellent matchups, Waller will go overlooked this week despite being the clear second-look behind Jaylen Waddle and averaging the second-most fantasy points on the season at tight end behind only Jake Ferguson.
Jake Ferguson (TE – DAL) @ CAR | DraftKings: $5,300/FanDuel: $7,000
As the highest-priced tight end on the slate, we’ll get a slight discount on rostership for Jake Ferguson. He has thrived with CeeDee Lamb out. George Pickens should have the more difficult matchup, leaving us with another potential Ferguson ceiling game.
Additional Considerations
- Tucker Kraft (TE – GB) vs. CIN | DraftKings: $4,700/FanDuel: $6,700
- David Njoku (TE – CLE) @ PIT | DraftKings: $3,500/FanDuel: $5,700
D/ST
Green Bay D/ST vs. CIN | DraftKings: $3,700/FanDuel: $5,000
Green Bay’s defense should be the most popular play this week due to the matchup. While there are other clear pivots (Las Vegas, Los Angeles Rams, Pittsburgh), the pivots don’t offer enough of a salary discount to justify making the pivot outside of trying to leverage ownership.
The Packers faced Joe Flacco with the Browns in Week 3 and held Flacco to fewer than 150 yards with one interception. While Flacco did get a big upgrade in weapons, Cincinnati’s offensive line likely won’t allow him the time to reach those weapons.
