Tyler Thornburg likely heading to the DL

Tyler Thornburg (back) is likely headed for the DL to start the season, but the Red Sox won't know until further testing is done Tuesday, Jason Mastrodonato of the Boston Herald reports. Thornburg was scratched from his appearance Monday due to an upper right trapezius spasm, and the latest setback will likely mean a stint on the DL to begin the season. Fantasy Impact:
Thornburg was acquired from the Brewers in the offseason to be the top setup reliever in the Red Sox bullpen. He has struggled with injuries in spring training and has not established a role. Once he is healthy he will be a great source of holds for leagues that count that stat.
