Leonys Martin designated for assignment

The Mariners have designated Leonys Martin for assignment. They have recalled Daniel Vogelbach to take Martin's place on the roster. (Bob Dutton on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Martin was off to a terrible start in 2017, reaching base just nine times in 57 plate appearances. With his speed and skill set, there's no doubt that another team will pick Martin up soon, though it's tough to see him getting a starting spot. Guillermo Heredia had started the Mariners' previous two games in left field, so he seems likely to get the bulk of the playing time going forward.
