Noah Syndergaard has been scratched from his Thursday afternoon start with right bicep discomfort that has led to a "tired arm," according to Jared Diamond on Twitter. Matt Harvey will start for the Mets in his place. (Jared Diamond on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Discomfort in a pitcher's throwing arm is never great news, but this could still turn out to be precautionary. Noah Syndergaard has to be evaluated by a doctor but could apparently start on Sunday if he is cleared and if rest helps alleviate the discomfort. This is obviously a situation worth monitoring heading into the weekend.
