Jeurys Familia has surgery to remove clot in armpit; out several months

Jeurys Familia had surgery on Friday to remove a clot from his armpit area. Sandy Alderson stated that Familia will be out "several months." (Marc Carig on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Although Alderson suggested there was a chance Familia could return before the end of the season, there's no reason to hold him at this point. Addison Reed immediately becomes a top-12 closer, and should be a top waiver wire target this weekend.
