Sonny Gray pitches better in a no-decision

by Waleed Hawatky | Cardinals Correspondent | Mon, May 15th 12:30pm EDT

Sonny Gray gave up two runs over six innings in Saturday's 6-5 loss to the Rangers but didn't factor in the decision.

Fantasy Impact:

Gray struck out three and walked two. The outing was his best since returning from a lat strain but it wasn't enough to translate to a win with the bullpen imploding in the bottom of the seventh. The strikeout total is still really low but he's starting to regain the control that trademarked his repertoire. Gray will seek his first victory when he gets the Red Sox on Thursday.
