Jeff Samardzija allowed three runs over four innings of work on Tuesday night against the Nationals. He gave up nine hits, walked none, and struck out five.
Fantasy Impact:
Samardzija has been pitching very well in the month of May, so this outing came as a bit of a surprise. However, he still possesses an elite K/BB ratio this month so the 1-7 record is a bit misleading.
