Anibal Sanchez has short outing in 16-2 loss

Anibal Sanchez (2-1) was removed after 3 2/3 innings on Wednesday during a 16-2 loss to the Royals. He gave up four runs on nine hits while striking out four batters and issuing a pair of walks while suffering his first loss of the season.
Fantasy Impact:
Since joining the rotation on June 19, Sanchez has a 4.66 ERA and 1.27 WHIP with a 7.91 K/9 in seven starts. The 33-year-old right-hander is only worth fantasy consideration in AL-only leagues and even there fantasy owners should proceed with caution. Sanchez should be avoided for his next scheduled start in New York against the Yankees next Monday.
