David Price headed back to the disabled list with elbow issue

David Price is being placed on the disabled list by the Red Sox Friday with a recurrence of the elbow issue that cost him the first two months of the season, according to Jon Morosi. Earlier Friday, Buster Olney reported that Price underwent an MRI on Thursday after reporting elbow and forearm soreness. (Jon Morosi on Twitter )

Once the MRI news came out, it seemed likely the Price was headed to the disabled list. The question now is how long he will be out. This same issue cost him the first two months of the season, and elbow and forearm soreness are often signs of a deeper problem.
