David Price (elbow) is hoping to throw off a mound Wednesday, Tim Britton of The Providence Journal reports. Price has been ramping up his throwing over the past week, and he's now ready to work off a mound for the first time since July 22. (Tim Britton on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
While this is good news for Price it means his timetable will more than likely put him into the Red Sox rotation towards the last week of the season. This will not help fantasy owners who have playoffs coming up around the corner. If you are holding onto Price and hoping he has an impact in your playoffs it may be time to move on.
