Fantasy Impact:
Jacob deGrom likely would have gotten the ceremonial honor if he hadn't suffered a slight setback earlier this spring with his back. As it is, Syndergaard has looked dynamic this spring, and should be in line for a top-10 fantasy season in terms of starting pitchers.
