Hyun-Jin Ryu strikes out nine in second win Monday

Hyun-Jin Ryu allowed two runs on three hits and no walks while striking out nine over six innings to earn the win over the San Diego Padres on Monday. The performance was his second straight quality start and second straight win.
Fantasy Impact:
After back-to-back solid performances, Ryu now carries a 2.89 ERA and a 0.96 WHIP through his first three starts. He has been excellent over his last two starts, allowing just four hits while striking out 17 over 12 innings. While Ryu has been good when healthy throughout his MLB career, history says he is not likely to keep up this pace. For now, though, fantasy owners can ride him while he's hot.
