One more year for Tim Hudson

by Clinton H. | Tue, Nov 18th 10:14pm EST

Tim Hudson says next season will probably be his last. The 39-year-old right-hander reached and won the World Series in his 16th major league season. He said Tuesday he plans to fulfill his $23 million, two-year contract with the Giants, then possibly call it a career. (ESPN)

Fantasy Impact:

Hudson was an all-star candidate in the first half of the 2014 season, but struggled down the line with an injury. At 39 years old, it's hard to know what Hudson can bring to the table after a long World Series winning season. It's fully possible that he has a similar first half in 2015, but to expect a full season of quality starts may be hard to believe. Draft Hudson with his age in mind.
