Fantasy Impact:
Davis has had a historically bad season in what is also a burdensome contract for the Orioles. Davis is out of minor-league options so the Orioles have to keep him on the roster or absorb his contract. For now, they have chosen to bench Davis, and there is no timetable for a return. Orioles manager Buck Showalter said that Davis' return isn't imminent.
