Jacob Faria optioned to Triple-A Durham

Jacob Faria has been optioned down to the Rays Triple-A affiliate, the Durham Bulls. (Marc Topkin on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
It was shocking to see this news after the game on Wednesday. The team wanted to activate Tommy Pham from the DL so Faria became the casualty most likely to go down for one start and help stretch him out some more. He will be back with the club when rosters expand on September 1st, if not sooner.
