Fantasy Impact:
The Yankees have looked into many options to upgrade their rotation early in the offseason. Paxton will be under team control for another two years at an affordable rate given his production. While Paxton has been among the game's best when taking the mound, he has had trouble remaining healthy. A move to the Yankees would likely help in terms of wins, but it also isn't a favorable ballpark shift coming from Seattle.
