Braves starter Kevin Gausman allowed eight earned runs on eight hits and two walks while striking out one over just one inning of work in Wednesday's loss to the Washington Nationals.
Fantasy Impact:
After three straight quality starts for Gausman, Wednesday was about as bad as it gets. He surprisingly did not allow any home runs despite the eight runs allowed, but his eight runs allowed on just 13 batters faced paint the picture of a starter who just did not have it on Wednesday. His ERA jumped to 5.56 on the season, and he is scheduled to take on the Pirates in Pittsburgh in his next start.
